Running Into Hamilton

Christmas- part 77

I tiredly say goodnight to Anthony, then go to my room to sleep for the night.

I wake up and quickly get ready, since it's the last day before Christmas break. I put on army green leggings with a cute red sweater, then head off to school. I say goodbye to anthony, since jazz was still fast asleep, adenosine still flooding her brain. I hop out of the car and go inside. I sit with my friends for a while, laughing and hanging out. "No, no wait- Jefferson and Hamilton definitely had a thing going on there." Sara says, making me laugh. "Ok, maybe, but lams is way stronger, like they're always together." I say laughing. We go to our classes and suffer through the last day of school until Christmas break.

We all go to our favorite teacher at resource, who just has awesome Hamilton singalongs every Friday or whatever the last day of the school week is. We sing right hand man and one last time, having immense fun while doing it. The ear piercing bell rings through the school, and we all go to our busses. Anthony and Jazz have a rehearsal tonight, so I'm taking Rileys bus home, then he'll walk me from there. We board the bus together, the first on since we didn't have to get our bags from our lockers. We talk the entire way home, Riley saying hello to a few of his friends. "I agree, lams is so much stronger than Hamilton and Jefferson. Also, if Phillip hadn't gone and died, philodosia would have been the adorable forbidden love thing." He says, making me laugh.

Finally, the bus screeches to a stop at Rileys apartment building. A few other kids get off, and we head up to Rileys apartment. He drops off his bag and grabs some money, then we head off. On the way, we stop at a really good dollar pizza spot to get a snack. We eat the pizza and French fries on the way, and finally arrive at my home. I push the key into the lock and open the door. We stay in the kitchen for a while, eating and chatting until we're done. I sit on the counter, wiping my hands on a napkin. Riley walks over to me and grabs my waist, pulling me down. He gently pushes his lips against mine, while wrapping his arms around me. We stay like that for a while, then he let's go. "I love you." I say, laying my head on his chest. "I love you too monkey." He says. "Do you want me to stay, since A&j aren't here?" He asks and I nod. I hate being home alone.

Riley whips out his phone and I see him text Anthony, asking if he could stay. Anthony replies yes, so we head over to the couch. We watch tv until they get home, then Riley heads home.

*time skip to Christmas eve(one day)*
*jazz pov*

It's the night before christmas, so most of maddies friends are gathered at our house. They arranged a secret Santa and they all brought their gifts to exchange. I smile at all of the kids, sitting in a circle with hot chocolate and gifts, having fun. Cara gives Julia a sketchbook, colored pencils and pens, Julia gives Riley headphones and a gift card, Riley gives Sara a tshirt that says "and peggy", and Sara got maddie really cool Disney themed popcorn maker that she wanted. Finally maddie pulls out her gift to Cara. "Ok, so since we all know how fascinated you are by my family, here." She says, handing her the wrapped book. Cara tears into it, then jumps up in excitement. "Oh my gosh, thank you! This is so cool!" She says.

They all hang out for a while, then eventually they all head home, except for riley, who's staying the night. His dad, as well as most of the cast, are coming over for Christmas dinner. There's a party with just the cast, Maddie and riley, which has a gift exchange and some games, then cast families are coming later. We all fall asleep, excited for tomorrow.
*time skip to Christmas*
*Anthony pov*

I wake up at 6 am, then roll over to the other side of the bed. I quickly stand up and start jumping, yelling "It's Christmas!" Until my fiancee wakes up. I then run into my daughters room and do the same thing. "Ant, it's 6. I understand it's christmas, but it's so early, you're acting like a 5 year old." She says, shuffling her feet through the carpet. Riley follows, as he was sleeping on the extra mattress in her room. We all walk out into the living room and peel open the presents. Maddie got makeup, some t-shirts, tickets to book of Mormon, and a few gift cards. Riley got gift cards, shared the tickets for BOM with maddie, and a watch. Jazz got a necklace and earrings, a bracelet, and some cookware. I got new sneakers and a painting. We all hang out and have fun before we have to go to the party.
