"Thank you so much you guys, where am i even going to put all of this?" She asked, putting the bags in the back of the car. "You'll find out soon enough hun." I said and got in the car.

*Groff pov*

I was walking into the little Italian restaurant that we decided to eat at with Leslie, and we saw Maddie in the little waiting area. Talking to a guy. I turn to Leslie and whisper, "so should i like.. dad mode her and stop him from talking to her, or let her be, or ask her later?" Leslie laughs and retorts "just let her be and ask her later. She's 13, she can handle herself."

I wait with the other cast members that have already showed up and chat with them.

*Lin pov*

O god Maddies talking to a boy do i need to kill him

*Anthony pov*

I change the subject in the group after looking over at Maddie. "Aww guys look Maddies talking to a boy. He looks her age, right? Im going over there." I say, going from being excited for her to nervous, very, bery quickly. I'm stopped by leslie and Groff pulling me back, saying "we already talked it over. Let her be and ask her later." I sat back down and shook my head ok.

*Maddie pov*

"Ya I'm Maddie. I'm 13. I just.. um... moved here." I said. I was wringing my hands nervously. No guys have ever come up to me and talked to me first. "Cool, ya I'm Riley. I'm 13 too. I've lived here my whole life." He says, pulling me out of my little trance. Goodness his voice is beautiful, not too low, but not that high either.

"Do you... like... do musicals and stuff like that at your school?" I asked out of nowhere. "Yes, actually. I was the Mad Hatter last year at Jefferson middle. You?" He asked. Score. Musical kid. The cast will love him. "Ya, I love musicals. The last one I was in, I was Anastasia, like, from Cinderella. That was a while ago. I might do it again." I turn around as i hear people moving behind me. The cast was going to the table. "Gotta go!" I said, walking to the cast.

*daveed pov*

We had gotten our food a while ago, and everyone was eating. Maddie was sitting diagonal me, and I looked around. All of the other guys who knew she was talking to a guy were staring at her. She was even more quiet than normal.

"So Maddie, who was the guy? You know we saw you talking to him." I said, getting most people at the table to look up, expecting an answer. She blushed really hard, looked down, then spoke up. "Well, his name is Riley. He was really nice. We started talking cause he complimented my dress." She looked at jazz "thanks." Gesturing to her dress.

*Maddie pov*

"So we got to talking, and he said he was super into theater and singing." I saw all of the faces at the table light up. Lin spoke up with pasta filling his mouth, "so, are you like, dating him child?" Or at least thats what I could hear through the pasta.

I blushed again. "No. And by the way am an i going to go to school here?" I didn't know what would happen. (AN I know this process wouldn't only take like 3 days but is fanfic ok chill just believe it) "actually, we wanted to tell you something." Pippa said. "We have coustudy of you!" Nearly the whole cast said at once.

"You'll stay in the empty room at the Rogers. Technically me and jazz have coustudy, but in our book, the whole cast does." I leaned over and hugged Anthony and jazz, then the whole cast joined in. "We've enrolled you in Jefferson middle school." Lin said. I got so excited and jumped up and down. The entire cast was confused.

When I saw their faces I sat back down and tried to act like that didn't happen. "Umm... what was that about mad?" Oak asked. He's the only one that calls me that. "...nooothiiingg...." I say, drawing the word out. "WHAT IS IT WOMAN." Lin nearly yells out of confusion. "Riley goes there..." I whisper, then see Anthony's face change. He was probably the only one who heard, him and Pippa since they were on either side of me.

"Lin in enrolling her in an all girls school." I hear Anthony joke. "Funny. He probably has a girlfriend. Theater guys are few and far between. You won't have to worry about that for a while." I say, and see Anthony sigh with relief. "I love you guys. And one more thing just in case. Do you like him? Riley?"
