Running Into Hamilton

Eat- part 14

After the show ends Anthony comes in. He finds me laying on my bed, Riley on my bean bag chair, both of is laughing our heads off. He asks me if I wanna stay at the theater or at his place, and i choose his apartment. Riley walks to his house after saying good bye and I go home, falling asleep smiling, knowing he loves me.

*maddie pov*

I had school, like any other day, tgen went to rehearsal. I was really getting to know everyone in the cast. The girl tgat plays maleficent, Cara, is super nice and we hang out alot. Also, the girl who plays fauna is really cool, her names Julia. She's hilarious and tge three of us hang out all the time.

I make my way to the auditorium with Riley and sit with Cara and Julia. We hang out for what seems like hours until our director shows up. Once she gets there we begin blocking. It's a long and tedious process, but i love it. Rehearsal ends and the four of us leave. I told Anthony and jazzy that I was walking home, I just liked to walk sometimes.

I kinda need it anyway. I really need to work out. I mean, I stopped eating as much, but I haven't lost weight. I eat a somewhat small lunch usually, and Riley, Julia and cara  don't think much of it. But today, i ate a really big lunch. I jog to the theater and run to my room.

I lock the door and lay on my bed. I just cry. I cry until I hear the stage door open, then compose myself, at least enough. I didn't realize that it was already 6. I look at my phone, and it isn't. It's only 4. I wonder whos here this early. I hear footsteps that i believe are Anthony's, but i can't tell because they're muffled by the door. Anthony opens the door and looks in.

"The casts going to dinner, c'mon." He says, motioning me up. My face isn't quite towards him, but i can see him. "I'm not hungry. Im fine here." I say, still hiding my puffy, red, tear-stained face. I go to get my phone, but fall, revealing my face to Anthony. He runs over and sits next to me.

"Wha- what's wrong? Why are you crying." He asks, wrapping his arms around me. I pull my long sleeves down and wipe my eyes, also trying to hide the bruises on my arms. "We're going to dinner. Let's g- oh my goodness, are you trying not to eat? Maddie... I'm sorry." He says, unsure. "I ate lunch. I normally only eat dinner and a lunch. I ate like, more than a full lunch so I'm not hungry. Please don't be sorry, ant. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Im not like, starving myself, I'm eating healthy, small portions." I say, convincing Anthony as much as im convincing myself.

I get up and walk to Anthony's car with him, his arm around my shoulder. We walk in and some of the cast is already waiting.

*Anthony pov*

I really want her to eat. I don't think she anorexic though, and she said she wasn't starving herself. She really only misses breakfast. But so does like half the population. We sit down and wait for the cast. When we order, Maddie orders right before me. "Uhh... can i just get like, a side salad?" She asks the waitress, who nods and writes it on her note pad. I order a full dish of salmon, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and green beans. Hopefully I can get her to eat some.

Our food comes and she devours her salad right away. After a few minutes i push my plat towards her a little. At first she looks at it, then denies it. "Really. I can't eat all of it, it's huge." I wasn't lying. It was a huge meal. She smiles and picks up her fork. We share the meal, and I'm happy. I just want her to be happy and healthy.

AN hey! Sorry this chapters really short, only around 670 words. Just so you guys know, this is about the time ill update everyday, or later once i actually get homework.
