New Nightmare -part 43

*Maddie pov*

I end up falling asleep in Rileys arms, and an hour later he shakes me awake. I look up and see a blankfaced Anthony, then sit up, off of Riley. I go to my bed soon after.

*Riley pov*

Maddie fell asleep on my shoulder around 9:30, and i noticed Mr. Ramos didn't look particularly happy around an hour later. I gently shake Maddie awake and she sits up. She tierdly rubs her eyes, yawning. She's adorable. She stands up, a small blanket around her, and goes to bed. Mr. Ramos and Me. Jones follow suit soon after, then i switch off the tv and go to bed. I wake up in the middle of the night to faint talking and whimpers, coming from Maddies room. I sit up and look around. The words grow louder and nearly reach screams.

I bolt up and open her door, seeing her moving. She looks like she's getting hit, maybe kicked. I rush to her and try to calm her down. "Shhh, it's ok, you're alright. I'm here, youre ok." I say, not knowing what to do. Mr. Ramos rushes in and sees me crouched by her bed. "Mr. Ramos, is she ok? I didn't know what to do." I say, backing up from the bed to let him in. "Its fine, thanks for helping, Riley." He says, then looks to his daughter. He holds her arm, and she shakes less. "Its ok honey, your alright. Your safe with us, we're here for you. We love you. It's ok." He says, then she bolts awake.

Tears are staining her face. It pains me to see her like this. "I-im sorry. I'm fine, you can go back to sleep." She says, looking defeated and embarrassed. Mr. Ramos sits on her bed. "No, it's ok, honey. It's fine." He says. I start to leave. "Umm, I'll just-" I say, when both Anthony and Maddie look up. "Can you stay? Can he stay?" Maddie asks me, then her dad. "Yes, c'mon and sit down." Mr. Ramos says, patting the bed. I can tell im well on his good side. "Thank you, mr. Ramos." I say, sitting on the other side of her bed. "Call me Anthony." He responds to me, and i nod. We all just sit there in silence until Maddie falls asleep.

"She has a pull out bed, if you want to stay with her. I'll stay if you want, I just, kinda thought-" Anthony beings rambling. "Ok, I'll stay with her if you'll let me. I swear, I won't lay a hand on her unless she has another nightmare." I say, and he nods. We pull out the bed and i fall asleep.

*Maddie pov*

"Get off of me. Please, I don't want this." I say to him. "Why should I? Huh? Afraid, are you, little slut. You know you deserve this." He says, then slaps me, kicks me, and punches me. He keeps hurting me, trying to take off me clothes. Luckily, I in strong enough to keep them on, but not enough to not get hurt.

I wake up to Anthony talking to me, and I see Riley in the corner. I can't believe he saw me like that, it was gross. Even grosser than I usually am. They stay with me, then i fall asleep.

Riley is asleep on the pull out bed, so I roll the other direction and get ready for school. It's nearly thanksgiving, so I'm in  really cute piano printed leggings and a simple shirt. (I actually have these and I love them the pic is up there.) Riley comes up behind me, fully ready for school, as I'm doing makeup. "You don't need makeup, m. You're pretty without it." He says as i finish my eyeliner. "Well, too late now." I whip around and peck him on the cheek, leaving a faint, pale pink mark from my lip balm. He wipes it off and kisses me back. We leave in Anthony's car.

We get to school, then hang out with my friends. We have fun, as always.
