Running Into Hamilton

School Shopping- part 6

"Alright, well we'll set up her phone, and go this evening. How's that sound?" Anthony asks, not taking his eyes off the road. "Thats awesome. You guys are the best." I love my family, my new life. I love it.

*Anthony's pov*

The store had already set up her phone number, so I just had to put the numbers of the cast in her phone and get her on social media. I entered jazzy, daveed, lin, Groff, pippa, Leslie, oak, Renee, and my number into her phone. Then we got her a Twitter, instagram, and Snapchat.

*Maddie pov*

After Anthony and I set up my phone and all of my accounts we got ready to leave. I was going into eighth grade. I got a cute mint green backpack that I was going to decorate with Disney quotes. I got a cute purple binder and multi colored dividers. I got cute notebooks and pastel filler paper. Anthony was just running through the aisles and throwing everything in the cart. Then jazz and i would go and put it all back.

After we checked out, we drove back to the apartment. Anthony throws all of the supplies on in the floor and we all sit together and pack my bag. After about an hour of joking and packing, we're done and we watch tv after eating dinner.

I wake up to someone gently shaking me. I look up and see jazz waking me up. "We're leaving in 45!" She says when I open my eyes. I pull on mint green shorts and a Schuler sisters tee. I walk out and watch tv until we leave.

We walk into the theater and i see the whole cast sitting together on the stage. "Maddie!" They all yell. Oak stands up and begins to talk. "Your room is ready! Do you want to see it?" He shouts. "Of course!" I say, running up onto the stage. Lin walks up the stairs first, with me behind him, and the ready of the cast behind me. Lin shows me the door and i swing it open. It's beautiful.

"Thank you guys so much!" I say, turning around and hugging as many people will fit in my arms. Groff speaks from the hug "we left it a little bare on the furniture end, so some of us can go out and get that with you." He says. "Cool, daveed, Lin, Anthony, Groff, Leslie and oak do you wanna go to Ikea or like pier one-" I'm cut off by daveed "NOT FUCKING PIER ONE I HATE PIER ONE!" He shouts, getting a laugh out of all of us.

The show went amazing, as always. I just sat in my room, following people on social media and listening to the music from downstairs. I fell asleep during the 2nd act. The last thing I remember hearing was stay alive reprise.

*Lin pov*

I went upstairs after the show to say goodnight to Maddie. A good amount of the cast came with me. I opened the door and saw her laying on the bed, sleeping, her phone not far from her hand. I picked it up, and it was almost dead, so I plugged it in for her.

*oak pov*

Me and the guys went up to say goodnight to Maddie, but she was already asleep. Shes adorable. How could anybody be so cruel to her. She didn't deserve the life she had. No one does, but especially not her.

*back to Maddie pov*

I woke up at about 8. I showered and got ready, then played on my phone for a while. It was like 9:30, and I was bored, so I seized the opportunity of living in a theater. I turned on my favorite songs, and performed them to the empty theater. The cast would be here soon. I closed my eyes and sang my little soprano heart out.

*Groff pov*

I heard somebody singing in the theater. It kind of sounded like pip, but i couldn't tell from the lobby. I quietly slipped in and saw that it was Maddie. Woah, she sounds so good. I hid in the back and whenever somebody came in, I waved them to my little hiding spot. Eventually the whole cast was there, and we all popped out.

"Maddie, that was so good!" I shouted, walking down to the stage. I saw her blush, "it really wasn't that great." She said, nearly trying to hide. "Yes it was. You are doing the ham4ham tonight after the show. There are going to be a ton of Broadway stars!" I said. I saw her expression change quickly to fear. "I can't perform in front of a bunch of professional performers."

Lin came up behind me. "Sorry to break this up, but we have a show in a hour and a half." And with that, I went off to my dressing room. "Lin," I called to my roommate, well dressing-roomate. "Maddie is amazing. Don't you think she should do a ham4ham?" I asked. "Of course. That girl is like a tiny pip." He said, and i laughed. I know she can do this.
