Twenty Six

Leah's POV.....

"I can't believe you said that to my uncle" Ryan said before taking a sip of her coffee.

"I know, I'm sorry if I offend or step my boundaries"
"Are you kidding me? It was about time someone set him straight. My dad flipped this morning when I told him what happened. He said he was threatening his other daughter and he's gonna hear from him"

A small smile formed on my face "aww I love your dad and mama"

"They love you too. I'm embarrassed to be cousins with Ali" 

We both laughed and talked for a bit more. We were treating our selves to mani, pedis and massages as our Christmas gifts. I took a sip of ice coffee while my feet were getting taken care of. 

The salon door opened and we heard familiar voices.

"Look who we have here?" Candace said as she approached the empty pedicure chair.

"Hey"both Ryan and I said to her and then Cassidy.

They both took the empty chairs and we all talked for a bit. Tonight is teams holiday party at Jamie's and the girls were getting ready.

Once I was done I headed to the manicurist table. I was the first one done and decided to go to the local shops that were around.

All my gift for my family was shipped last week and I just needed a few for here. I walked into the jewelry shop and looked at the chains. Tyler was the last person I had to go shopping for. He hinted for a few weeks that he had something small for me. So it's only right to get him something. But what do you get the person that has everything.

I looked over at the chains and spotted some dog tags. The sales person helped me look at them clearly. None of them really suited for Tyler. I thanked the guy again and continued walking. I stopped in front of the local sports store and an idea clicked in my head.

I quickly walked in and grabbed everything I needed in matter of minutes. Once I was done, I walked back to the salon. Ryan just paid and was ready to leave.

She helped me bring the bags into the car and we headed home.

A few hours later, I just finished Tyler's gift and the pizza we ordered was delivered. I sat on the couch and Ryan handed me a glass of wine and a slice.

"Thank you"' I said.
"Of course, you were working pretty hard. The gift looks amazing"
"Thank you, I usually just buy gifts but I had to do something personal for Tyler"
"What's going on with you guys?" She asked.
"We have established that there are feelings between us, but decided to take things really slow" i said before sipping on my wine.
"So you guys are fucking or?" She said with a grin.
"No Ry! Like I said slow"
"That's just sad! You're hurting his fuck boy image"
"Will you knock it off!"

We both laughed" "we just make out mostly"
"Do you not want to?"
"I am not stupid! Of course ha but with him. Taking it slow is good for us"
"Damn do I feel bad for him"
"Please! The way I'm planning to drink tonight he might get a buzzed blow job"

We both laughed really hard and continued eating. I got stuffed and cuddled into the couch. It was way to early to get ready, so I put a movies on and slowly fell asleep. Around nine Ryan shook me awake. I got up from the couch and stretched a bit.

"Go get dressed beautiful"

I nodded and headed toward my room. About thirty minutes later, I was showered, dressed and ready to get my drink on. I grabbed my small bag, phone and keys.

Ryan was waiting by the door with her bags in hand. After the party, she's heading straight to the airport.

Michael honked the door and we both headed out. He helped Ryan with her bags and we got into the car. The ride was pretty short and found a spot a few houses down. The closer we got to the house, the louder the music got.
