Fourty Six

Leah's POV....

"Damn! When did my best friend get so hot" I said as I walked out of the airport.
"Shut up!" Jamie said as he walked towards me and pulled me into a hug.
"seriously though, you got a new hair cut, biceps have gotten bigger and your face is a bit similar.  Off season is doing very well for you"

We pulled away and I looked at him up and down with a whistle.

"And look at you! You look happier then ever and you're actually glowing. Are you knocked up?" He asked with a smirk.
"Aha no, it must be my tan" I said.
"Yea sure! Let's go! Everyone is at the cabin. We are just waiting on you" he said.

He lead the way to his pick up truck and placed my bag in the back of the bed. He then helped me climb into the car and then got in himself.

We made our way out of the air port and towards Jamie's family cabin. The ride was a bit quiet but we took the opportunity to catch up.

"So no World Cup eh?" I said to him while looking out at the window.
"Nope, I unfortunately hurt myself Leah's POV....

I smiled at him and admired the woods that we drove on. The dark sky were exposed and the bright stars were bright.

"by the wat Tyler is going to be the house, hope that's okay?" Jamie asked as he turned down a road.

A smile came across my face and I felt my cheek blush. Luckily it was dark in the car and Jamie couldn't see my face. Its been a wonderful few weeks. After I dropped Tyler back home from our first night, we have been at a good place. We both have been non stop with our work duties but some how at the end of the night we talk on the phone.

"Yea that's fine"
"Really? I expected you to be annoyed about it. What changed?" he asked.
"I was up in Toronto the beginning of the month and we meet up. We talked somethings over and decided to see anyone else "
"So you guys are back together?"
"I guess but taking things extremely slow. We both have a lot on our plate this summer and we still want to concentrate on that.  Work on ourselves and gain some trust"
"okay, so you guys are in a long distance in realtionship?'
"yea I guess so
