"Pierre..."

His twin sister. He can still remember how his world revolved around her. She was only one left for him after their mother died and left to tend on their own by their own father. The first person he swore that he would die for. And he did.

Lumapit ito nang dahan-dahan. The trail of her long black gown elegantly swayed behind her.

"Brother.."

She gently touched the scar on his chest with her soft warm hand. "I always believe in my heart that you survived. They searched for you. They didn't find your body. Not even your ashes."

Tumango siya pero nanatili siyang nakatayo. Hindi na niya magawa pang magsalita.

He felt Angelique's palm on his cheek. Bahagya pa itong natawa habang hinahaplos ang pilat niya.

"Where's that proud prince I grew up with? Were you living inside a cave all this time? Nakalimutan mo na yatang mag-shave." Puna nito.

"Things are different now, Angie." He said.

How he missed her.

"I see, you've became a hunter."

He hunted his own kind. He killed them. But most, for the reason to protect ordinary humans to uncover their existance. And he did that to survive. Wala na siyang mapupuntahan pa. Wala na siyang ibang pamilya.

"I was dead in our world," he said. "You killed me."

"Forgive me...ginawa ko yon para protektahan ang pamilya ko," she said. Napakagat ito ng labi. Binawi nito ang kamay at yumuko.

"Many elders died during the war, we had a chance to rewrite everything. We...We did. We made up our own history."

History with those lies?

"You've erased me in your lives like I never existed," He said. It was the highest punishment according to their law. "I've done a lot of awful things, Angelique. But I don't think I deserve it. I saved your husbands life, I saved all of them. And this is how you repay me?"

He knew that the King claimed that victory alone. He was declared a hero. And those who died, forgotten.

"I lost hope, Pierre.

"And this is not for us. This is for our daughters."

"Where is Nia?" he asked.

Napaawang naman ang bibig nito. Halata niya dito ang pagkagulat.

"Y-you've met Natalia, Pierre. Siya ang nagdala sayo--"
