Chapter Thirty- Eight: Where Friends and Enemies show their True Colours

Dacey's POV:

"Maroni, I am warning you, don't call my mother Babes," I warn the large man swinging his gun around. If you haven't had guessed, me, Oswald, Gordon, Falcone, Harvey, and Houston have all been captured by Maroni's men. Harvey, me and Houston are being held back whilst Butch is stood next to my mother and the other three are chained up.

"Seriously Guys, don't call her Babes, or Toots or what have yah," Maroni continues whilst everyone chuckles. I watch as my mother's face turns from calm to slightly angered. This is not going to end well.

"It's a woman's thing," Oh no... I watch in horror as my mother's hand raises and all I can hear is a bullet being lodged in Maroni's skull. Everyone stares horrified as Gotham's latest Crime Boss falls to the floor dead. Not going to lie but he deserved that.

"I am relaxed," my mother says. Maroni's men stare at my mother and I look over at Houston. He shakes his head as if knowing what I am going to do. I kick Maroni's men off of me and run towards Oswald, but as soon as I do, there is a crossfire.

"Kill her!" I hear one of Maroni's men shout. I quickly start to unlock Oswald's chains. He looks at me with a little madness in his eyes but I ignore it. As the chains are about to fall to the floor, I am pushed out of the way. Bullets fly my way. I turn around and see a body jump on my own. The black-haired man looks at me with relief and hugs me to his body. I go to hug the person back until something in the back of my mind clicks. I stare at the familiar black jacket and shake my head in anger.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I exclaim and push the man off of me. He chuckles and pulls me to my feet. He holds tightly onto my arms.

"It's good to see you too, my little monster," I glare at Tyler as he pulls me with him away from Oswald and towards my mother.

"That's my daughter you've just tried to kill," my mother growls at Maroni's men and shoots the man who shot at me. Everyone now stares at the man dead on the floor.

"HEY! That's my boss you just shot!" A woman shouts and tries to shoot my mother. I push my mother out of the way and the talk out my gun from my waist. I stare the woman in the eyes and a sadistic smile makes its way onto my face.

"Hey, Bitch! Don't shoot my mother!" I then in return kill her. As her limp body falls to the floor everyone now looks at me. I look at them all with an innocent look on my face and casually shrug my shoulders. As I am about to put my gun away I hear a man shout.

"That's my girlfriend!" I sigh and watch as a man aims to shoot me, Tyler stands in front of me and shoots the man across from us both.

"Don't try and kill my girl, mate!" Tyler growls. I push Tyler and punch him in the face. He holds his jaw and groans out a little.

"I'm not your girl!" I hiss. Tyler chuckles and wipes the blood off of his now busted lip. Houston and Harvey both break away from Maroni's men and Harvey runs towards Jim and Houston rushes towards me. Houston looks down Tyler and stands in front of me, protecting me.

"Don't you dare, mate," Houston states mocking Tyler and pushes me behind him slightly. Tyler takes out his gun and aims it at Houston.

"I'd move if I were you, I wouldn't like you to be shot in the process of me getting to Dacey," Tyler threatens. Houston pulls out his own gun.

"Seriously? Guys, we are in the middle of a gang crossfire and you decide to see who's the Alpha male?" I question. Tyler glares at Houston and walks straight past him and wraps his arm around my shoulder. Kill me now.
