JuminxReader ~Valentine's Day Special~

I slowly open my eyes, only to be blinded by the morning light, that was shining in the room from the window. Not feeling my boyfriend's arms tightly wrapped around me, like mornings are when he's home for the day, I sigh knowning he went to work on this special day. The day where you spend it with the people you love and care for, Valentine's Day, my boyfriend has gone to his company to work the day away.

After my eyes adjust to the brightness of the room, I look around the room, only to not find Elizabeth 3rd. She almost always curls right next to me after Jumin leaves for work. Other times she plays with one of her toys, quitely, waiting for me to wake up.

Suddenly, my stomach growls as I realize I haven't had breakfast yet and everyone in RFA would want me to eat as soon as possible. After having a quick debate with myself, I quickly change into (outfit of your choice) and head to the kitchen to get some breakfast.

Little did you know there was a surprise waiting for your arrival.

"Jumin!" I yell and run over to my lover, who was making pancakes over the stove.

"Y/n, good morning" Jumin replied as he turned around to look at you.

Jumin wraps his arms around your waist, and he pulls you closer, bringing you into a small but loving kiss.

"I thought you were going to go to work today. Why are you here?" I ask him as I pull away from the kiss, but stayed in his arms.

"I took off for today because I wanted to spend it with you. This is our first Valentine's Day together after all, right." He said, kissing your cheek.

"Thank you, Jumin." I tell him with a smile and let go of his hug. "I'll go set the table while you finish the pancakes you're making."

"There's no need for that, Y/n. I already did." He smiled.

After the amazing breakfast Jumin made for the two of you, you both decided to cuddle on the couch while taking about what you were going to do today. By the time you both decided what to do, it was just about lunch time, so you decided to go to the park and have a small picnic together. There was barely anyone around, so you were both alone walking hand in hand.

Suddenly, Jumin abruptly stopped walking and released his hand from yours.

"Huh? Jumin what's wrong?" I ask him.

"It's nothing." He answered, but you knew something was up.

"I know that it's not nothing, Jumin. I'm your girlfriend, you can trust me." I say.

"Follow me." Jumin said as he grabbed your hand again and started walking.

"Wow. It's beautiful." Were the only words you were able to say at the sight Jumin took you to.

I look around at the cherry blossom trees in front of me. There was a small lake right next to the trees, where the petals to the beautiful trees slowly fell perfectly onto the clear water.

"Not as beautiful as you." Jumin whispered but loud enough for you to hear. You giggle at the cheesy line your boyfriend just said.

"This is amazing Jumin. Thanks for this." I tell him with a smile.

"I'm starting to get hungry. Do you want to start our picnic, love?" Jumin wholeheartedly smiled.

"Yup." I replied.

As you both finished your lunch, with the cherry blossom trees in sight, the two of you sat there in each other's arms.

"I love you so much, Y/n." Jumin whispered.

"I love you so much too, Jumin." I reply in a whisper. Then both you and Jumin turn to each other and say...

"Happy Valentine's Day."
