Your POV:

My hastened pace slows just as I reach the doors that lead into the RFA party hall. This will be my first RFA Fundraising Party for the holidays, and I am late due to the horrible traffic that I came upon while trying to get here. I take a deep breath, attempting to calm my nervousness. I grip the small gift bag that holds the present I will be giving to my crush. Straightening my clothes out, I put on a genuine smile and walk inside of the party hall.

When I get inside, I immediately notice Yoosung working alongside Jaehee to help the people making donations. Their wholehearted efforts warms my heart. As I walk over to the two, I realize that they haven't noticed me walking over, probably due to how hard they are working.

"Yoosung. Take a break for a while. I can handle this." Jaehee tells Yoosung, as I am a few steps away.

"Okay." Yoosung lets out a defeated sigh, most likely knowing that he wouldn't get far by arguing with Jaehee.

Yoosung steps out from behind the table he was sitting at and walks over in my direction. I start to walk over to where Yoosung was, but he spotted me and started walking over.

"Happy Holidays, Yoosung." I greet with a smile, as he reaches me.

"Happy Holidays to you too, Y/n." Yoosung says with his signature bright smile.

Yoosung and I exchange a quick hug, and I give Yoosung his present. Like a child on Christmas Day, Yoosung quickly takes out the tissue paper, placing it in the small trash can that was a few steps away, and takes out the customized mouse pad with a picture of us from when we first met.

"Thank you, Y/n. I love it." Yoosung smiles, as I return a nod. "Wait here. I have to go get your present."

Yoosung quickly walks over to the backroom, where the RFA members and staff can store their belongings, and comes back with a small gift bag, about the size of the one I got Yoosung.

"For you!" Yoosung exclaims.

I take out the tissue paper from inside the bag, placing it in the same trash can as Yoosung did with his, and I took out the present inside. I look at the present, as I take it out, and see a bag of (favorite/candy).

"You remembered?" I ask out of surprise, since I only once told Yoosung my favorite candy, and Yoosung nods. "Thank you."

Yoosung's smile suddenly shifted into a frown, as he looked to the floor.

"I'm really sorry, Y/n. I wish I could have gotten you something better, but I haven't had the money to buy people good gifts this year." Yoosung's cheery tone altered into a saddened tone.

"Yoosung... Your gift was perfect. I love it, and I'm really thankful for it." I genuinely say, hoping to cheer him.

I wrap my arms around Yoosung. I hold him close for a minute or two before releasing my arms just enough so I am still holding him and can look him in his eyes.

"Yoosung please look at me." I plead.

Yoosung moves his gaze from the floor to my eyes. His eyes are filled with sadness.

"The fact that you thought to get me a gift, warmed my heart so much. I really appreciate that." I pause for a moment, and speak without thinking. "I love you for who you are, Yoosung. Just getting to talk to you makes me so happy. The amount of money you have does not define you."

After seeing Yoosung's shocked face, my brain finally comprehends what I just said. My face quickly heats up. I try to back away, but Yoosung wraps his arms around me before I am able too.

"Do you really mean that?" Yoosung asks with hope in his eyes.

Knowing I can't get out of it, I reply with a simple 'yes'. Yoosung smiles at me and holds me as close as he can.

"Good because I feel the same way about you, Y/n. I love every moment I get to spend with you, and I love you so much. Will you be my girlfriend, Y/n?" Yoosung whispers, as his sadness quickly fades away.

"Of course." I whisper back, wrapping my arms back around him.
