Your POV:
"That's now two wins for me and zero for you, Yoosung." I cheered.
Yoosung and I have been playing LOLOL for the past fifteen minutes at his apartment. Earlier, Yoosung said he was having a difficult time focusing in class due to his thoughts. He said he was constantly thinking about this girl he has a crush on, so I decided to come over and try to get him to focus on something else for a while.
"I didn't realize you were so good at LOLOL, Y/n." Yoosung frowned, turning around in his chair to face me.
Yoosung and I sat in his room. Yoosung was at his desk, playing LOLOL, while I was sitting at the foot of Yoosung's bed, on the other side of the room.
"I've been playing games like this for what seems like forever, so I'll go easy on you." I playfully smiled.
"NO! I'll win the right way!" Yoosung argued.
"Okay. Start another round then." I laughed.
As Yoosung turned back around, he started another game. We started the round, and it was pretty evenly matched throughout the round.
In the game, Yoosung damaged me very bad, so I ran away to gain my health back. In the midst of running away, I noticed how focused Yoosung was in real life. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Yoosung staring at the screen. Nothing was going to distract him from trying to win. Yoosung is one of those people who once they find something or someone they feel passionate about, they give it, or them, their full attention, and they don't let anything else get in their way.
I suddenly felt my face grow warm, as I realize I was staring at Yoosung this whole time. Immediately, I turn my attention back to my screen to focus back on LOLOL, but it was too late. Yoosung already caught up to me and hit me one more time with his sword, killing me.
"NO!!" I yelled as the round ended.
"YES!!" Yoosung cheered.
Yoosung threw his hands up with happiness. There was a big smile on his face, and his eyes were filled with excitement.
"Whatever." I sighed.
I watched as Yoosung continued celebrating.
'Cute.'
I felt my face grow even more warm, as I my eyes still wouldn't look away from Yoosung while he cheered.
'Not cute... I mean.'
"I'm going to start another round." Yoosung smiled, regaining his focus.
"O-Okay." I stuttered, as my mind wouldn't stop focusing on Yoosung.
'Why did I just stutter?'
Yoosung started another round. I tried to focus on actually doing well this time, but I couldn't stop glancing at Yoosung every few seconds.
My thoughts seemed to be at war with each other. Half of me was thinking about how cute Yoosung is, and what it would be like if we were together. However, the other half of me was telling me he was just a friend, and it is impossible for us to be together.
Close to the end of the round, Yoosung and I are both very low on health, but I my thoughts just wouldn't stop.
I looked over at Yoosung for a second, but at the exact same second, Yoosung turned his head a little to look at me. We locked eyes for moment, and I felt a sudden wave of embarrassment come over me. Yoosung must have felt the same embarrassment, since both of our faces turned redder than Seven's hair. Immediately, Yoosung and I both turned back to our screens.
'Has he been looking at me, while I wasn't paying full attention?'
I tried to focus back on the game to win, but I kept messing up. My thoughts were everywhere.
Less than a minute later, I finally got Yoosung trapped in a corner and swung my sword at him, finishing him off. I let out a sigh of relief, and exited from the game. I started packing up, when Yoosung said something.
"I can't do this anymore." Yoosung said, getting out of his chair.
I looked over to Yoosung, as he was walking over to me. Yoosung's face was still completely red, as was mine, but his eyes were full of passion. Yoosung held both of my hands in his and looked me directly in my eyes.
"Y/n. I've been holding this feeling in for the longest time. Ever since you first came into the RFA chatroom, I knew there was something special about you. Even though I was annoying you by mentioning my cousin every other chat, you stood by me. You stood by me and always stood up for me. There is never a time when I feel upset or down that you don't come to help. You're special to me, and the thought of you being with someone else hurts." Yoosung took a deep breath. "I'm in love with you Y/n. Will you be my girlfriend?"
All I could do was stare at Yoosung. His eyes were wide and full of hope. I tried to focus on answering Yoosung's question, but my answers were everywhere. A part of me wants to just answer with whatever comes out of my mouth, but there's a chance that I would be saying something I will regret.
"If you don't what to, then-" Yoosung started.
I cut Yoosung off by letting go of his hands and lightly wrapping my arms around his neck, bringing him into an embrace. Yoosung returned the embrace by wrapping his arms around my waist. I rested my head on his shoulder.
"I love you too, Yoosung." I said, after getting my thoughts together. "I'd love to be your girlfriend."
Yoosung kissed my cheek, then pulled away. He looked at me with the biggest, most genuine smile. Suddenly I realized something, so I picked my head up.
"Wait! So I was the one who caused you to not be focused in class?!" I asked.
Yoosung's smile stayed on his face, as he nodded.
"Why did you agree to me being over here then?" I questioned further.
"I wanted to see you." Yoosung smile couldn't get any bigger.
I smiled back at Yoosung and rested my head back on his shoulder.
"I love you, Yoosung." I whispered.
"I love you too, Y/n." Yoosung whispered back.
