Chapter 16

By now everyone had left and it was just me, Harry, Louis, Eleanor, and Rayne cleaning. I took my heels off and laid on the couch completely exhausted.

"Hey get up you shouldn't be tired you slept till three!" Rayne half yelled

"It's my birthday leave me alone!" I groaned letting my hair fall over my face

"Well we're almost done any way" Eleanor said

"How are you both still wearing heels? I need a foot massage"

"Harry your girlfriend would like a foot massage!" Louis teased. Are..am I Harry's girlfriend? I mean he gave me the ring back so I guess.

I lazily stood up to finish helping and saw it was 1 in the morning. Ugh. After a few minutes we all were done and ready to go home. I honestly didn't want to go back to our house. It holds too many bad memories. The awful things on the walls and when Harry locked me out and when I walked in on..them.

Okay I really need to stop thinking about that. It's suffocating me. I pulled all my hair up into a bun on top of my head.

"Alright Em you ready?" Harry asked making my stomach fill with butterflies

"Yeah I'm quite tired"

"Don't you need your clothes from the dorm?" Rayne reminded me

"Right..Harry and I will meet you there"

"Okay well I'm going to go. Bye Eleanor and Louis thank you for letting us have the party here" They exchanged hugs then Rayne left in her car.

"Hope the party was fun Emily" Louis said hugging me

"It was thank you all so much"

"Just letting you know it was Harry's idea" Eleanor whispered in my ear when I went in to hug her. Harry's idea? He came up with this? And made the cake? And got me a car? Hmm he seemed to know it would all win me over. Well it did. I nodded unsurely then left with Harry.

"Emily I have to tell you something" He started when we got outside. I grew very worried an anxious about what he was going to say. I loaded my presents in my car then turned to Harry.

"W-what?"

"I thought it was time for a change and I knew you wouldn't want to go back to the apartment so I found a house..for us" I sighed in relief because I thought it would be something bad. And because I did not want to go back to the apartment.

"Oh okay..what's it like?"

"You're not mad?"

"No I mean I didn't really want to go back there either so this is great" I smiled looking up at him. I was now a lot shorter than him because I wasn't wearing heels. Harry seemed relieved as well when I was excited about the new house.

"Well I'm glad..I can't wait to show you. You'll love it"

"Have you bought it yet?"

"No I get to live in it for a week and see how I like it so I was hoping you would get back together with me and it could officially be our house"

"Officially?"

"When I sign the lease we can both put our names down" He nervously smiled

"I can't wait to see it"

"So I'll drive in my car and you can drive yours then when you get your things you can follow me to the house?"

"Yeah um do you have the keys?"

"Oh right" He placed the keys in my hand then I thanked him and drove to Rayne's apartment. I loved the car. Everything about it. The way it drove so smoothly and glided across the road. I couldn't thank Harry enough for the car.
