(--One Month Later--)
{--Marinette--}
I can hear Tikki and Plagg yelling at Adrien in the other room. We never got to do it on our honeymoon and we lied to them and said we did so they wouldn't get mad, but now they're just angrier. I lean my head against the wall and listen to what they're saying. "Adrien this was the most important Royal Law! And you broke it!" Tikki shouts.
"W-We weren't ready. I wasn't going to force her into something she wasn't ready for." Adrien says. I can hear a whimper in his voice.
"Of course she was ready! Every princess has to be ready by their wedding night!" Tikki yells again.
"I-I-I-I'm sorry but we weren't ready. She's a princess, my princess. And I'm not going to force my princess into something she doesn't want to do yet. Now, if you excuse me, we have to get to school." Adrien leaves the room and I stand up. I hold his hand and we walk silently to our room. My room is now our room. Adrien doesn't stay with his Father anymore and I feel bad for taking him away from his parent. We grab our bags and walk to the limo out front. We sit down and Adrien pulls out his phone then throws it to the seat.
"W-What's wrong?" I stutter and he looks at me.
"The news already knows we lied, Marinette. Think how everyone at school will treat us now." Adrien runs his hand through his hair. He slams his hands on his face, them forming fists. I reach out and hold his hands and he looks at me. Tears are streaming down his face.
"So what if they know. Adrien, we weren't ready and we should just waist until we are. Who cares what others think?" I squeeze his hands slightly.
"I-I care! I'm a freak now Marinette and no one will let that down!" He cries and pushes me away.
{--Adrien--}
For a month people made fun of me for marrying Marinette, for letting her drink me, for me turning into a vampire. Everyone knew I was half vampire, half human, but Chloe and they made fun of me for it. And now they make fun of me for being a vampire. I can't win. I'm just a freak to everyone. I push Marinette away from me and break down. I can't handle this. I can't go to school like this. I need to stay away from everyone. "Adrien," Marinette stops me from beating my fists on my head. I look into her eyes. They're such a calming blue and they slowly turn yellow. "Why don't we just go for a walk. Let's miss a little bit of school and go for a walk, okay?" She gently rubs my hands with her thumbs. I sigh and nod.
We get out of the limo even before it reached the school. I hold Marinettes hand and we walk down the street. I can feel people's eyes glare into us. I bite my lip and we stop walking. Marinette cups my cheek. "Wh-What're you-"
"Everything's okay. Everything will be okay. It's only you and me, okay. No one else matters. Block them out." I bite my lip and take a deep breath and let it out. I nod and she smiles and we keep walking. I feel eyes burning into the back of my skull.
"E-Excuse me," we turn and see a bowing woman. Marinette gently holds her chin and makes her stand. "P-Princess, P-Prince, I-I-I understand that you broke a law b-b-but I-I-I would u-u-understand if you both weren't ready. Y-Y-You are j-just ch-children." She smiles.
"Thank you for understanding, it seems like no one else does." Marinette smiles. The woman bows and walks away. We continue down the street and I still feel eyes on us.
