{--Adrien--}

We look to the door and see Nathanael. I sigh and straighten up. This is his fiancée. I can't kiss her. I have to protect her. "Marinette," he walks to her. "Are you okay?" Like he cares. She nods. "Can you still not speak?" He looks offended. She nods.

"She hasn't spoken that much since the incident. I wouldn't rush her," I scoff and he glares at me. We walk out of her closet and I sit on her couch while they talk on her bed. Marinette moves and sits next to me, her arms crossed. "What's wrong?"

"H-Him." She huffs and the door closes with a loud bang. I turn and Nathanael is gone.

I laugh and we watch a movie. She has to leave for a lesson but I stay with her. She tries to speak more then one word but it's hard for her and she's constantly drinking water. I watch until the lesson ends. She can say a word and a half, almost two words. It's improvement. We walk to her room and find Nathanael there with Tikki and Plagg in masks. They don't show their faces around him anymore and we don't say their names. I bow to them. "Why are you here?" I ask for Marinette who was going to say the same thing.

"Nathanael told us you almost kissed Marinette," King Chat Noir says. I can see the anger in his eyes. "Is this true?" I wish I kissed her.

"Y-Yes." I stutter but keep a straight face and my posture stays the same.

"So you almost kissed my fiancée?" You don't care about her.

"Yes." I glare at him.

"Adrien," Queen Ladybug puts her hand on my shoulder. "We have to put you in the dungeon."

"N-No!" Marinette squeaks. I look at her. She pulls on my arm to get away from them. I don't budge and I'm trying not to laugh.

"Marinette, let go of him." Queen Ladybugs sighs and tries to pull her away from me. They lift her up but she won't let go of my arm.

{--Nathanael--}

Why did I tell on them. I like someone else now. She has beautiful pink hair and is best friends wth Max and Kim. She doesn't notice me, all that much. I like Alix. I know they love each other. I know they do. But they can't get married. Adriens not a vampire and he needs to be to marry her. Her eyes glow yellow. "Marinette!" She looks at me and so does Adrien, the King and Queen. "Let go of him." Tears start streaming down her face. They drop her and she clings to his arm.

"Mari," she looks up at Adrien. "I need to go."

"N-No! S-S-S-Stay!" She manages to say. I bit my lip and roll it in my mouth. I have to stop this. I don't want to separate them. They love each other.

"Marinette," he says harshly. She looks at him. "I need to go. You need to go to your fiancé." He takes her hands off of his arm and walks with the King and Queen down the hall. Marinette glares at me.

"H-H-Hate...y-y-y-you." Tears roll down her face as she whispers those words. She runs out of her room. I hate me too.

{--Marinette--}

I run as far as I can. I don't want to be around him. I run to my little garden and collapse on the bench by the daisies. I hate Nathanael. I can't believe him. Why can't he see I'm happy with Adrien and break off the marriage. Because he's not a vampire? So what. I love Adrien, not him. Not anymore. I heave out sobs and cry hard. I want Adrien. "Mari," I don't look up. I feel a hand on my back and flinch. I move away from them. It's Tikki. "Mari, I know you don't like what we did but you need to understand, Adriens not the one you're going to marry and you need to understand that this is about money. The kingdoms starting to go through hard times and we need him for money."

"H-Hate." I mutter.

"I know you don't like him right now but you can have Adrien stay your bodyguard, you just can't have a relationship with him," I growl at her. "Marinette, I know you love him but you can't marry him. He's not a vampire."

"S-So?!" I manage to shout at her.

"We need to keep the bloodline pure-" I run out of the garden and to the dungeon. I need to see him one last time.

I run in and see that he's in a cell with two other prisoners. I gasp as one stabs him. "N-No!" I yell and my strength come in and I break open the door and drag him out. I close it and run up into the castle. I run into my room. No ones in here. Adriens bleeding. I place him on my floor. I don't know what to do.

"M-Mari, I-I'll be fine." He smiles. Blood drips out of his mouth. I pick up his head and bite into his neck.
