I didn't get better. I felt like I was holding on for dear life. I couldn't walk, I couldn't eat, I could barely open my eyes. This was another burdened on the Cullens, especially Edward. 

"What's going on with her?" He questioned Carlisle. My head was on fire and my body so weak you could see my fragile bones. 

"I took some blood samples, I'll tell you as soon as they get back." 

Edward propped my head up on his leg. He rubbed up and down my stomach, and back, and head. I couldn't even look at him. I might as well have been dead. 

"Does she want something to eat?" Alice asked, concern filling her voice. Edward rubbed my arm. 

"She can't eat. Anything she tries to eat she throws up or doesn't even have enough strength to swallow." 

Carlisle walked back into the room. 

"I have the test results." 

"What's wrong." 

"She's been poisoned." 

"Poisoned? By who?"

"I'm not sure. It's attacking her system like ants at a picnic. She might not last much longer. I have some antibiotics she can take. I might be in her best interest to go to a hospital." 

"I don't think that's a good idea." Jasper chimed from the corner. 

"Why not?"

"The rogue vampires aren't gone. We can't be with her twenty-four seven is she's in a hospital." 

"He's right." Rosalie paused. "Her pet is here." 

She, Alice, and Jasper all walked away. Jacob appaered in the doorway. Confusion filled his face as he looked at my brittle body. 

"What happened to her?" 

"She was poisoned." 

"Poisoned? Why? Be who?"

"Jacob there is a lot we haven't been able to tell you. Bella's condition require we be around her at all times. I can brief you in the back." Carlisle said. 

"Haven't had time to inform me? She's dying!" 

"Jacob." My fragile body croaked. He walked over and put his hot hands on my body. 

"She's burning up." 

"Jacob.." 

"Did a vampire do it? I smell leech all over this place." 

"A group of rogue vampires are targeting Bella. Jacob? Can you alert your pack." 

"I'll tell Sam, is there somewhere you want to meet." 

"Edward would have to meet with you. We must tend to Bella." 

He sighed, "Fine." 

"Jacob?" I tried to touch him, he grabbed my hand and I felt my finger break even though his hands were light. 

"Isn't there some medicine you can give her?" 

"I don't want to cause a reaction between the medicine and poison, until I know what the poison is I can't risk anything."

Jacob rubbed his jaw and swallowed hard.

"Can I come back? To see her." 

"You're always welcomed here Jacob." Esme leaned on Carlisle's shoulder and she said it.

Jacob turned to me. "Hey."

The words wouldn't form.

"Don't try to talk. I know you feel like crap right now, but I promise you I won't let anything happen to you. If I have to rip every blood sucking leech piece by piece I will. I love you Bella." He kissed my forehead.

Jacob turned to leave then stopped. "Oh, and you have new leech."

"A new vampire."

"Yeah, kid works at the little shop, had a crush on Bells."

My heart dropped Mike.
