Save Me (Part 1)

I let out a sigh and rolled to my stomach. I let out a few grunts and threw up my small breakfast. Edward walked in and placed a hand on my forehead.

"You're still hot. Carlisle!"

Carlisle walked in and took my temperature.

"It's risen, 190."

I coughed again and rolled into Edward's arms.

"She's not getting better. you still don't know what this is?"

"I think now the risk is worth taking. I'll give her the medicine. I'll come back with some vitamins as well."

Edward nodded and stroked my hair. "you're going to be okay." He cooed.

Jacob came through the door. he stared down at my body.

"Carlisle is getting some antibiotics."

"Do you know what this is?"

"No, the risk is required."

Jacob sat by my head.

"Do you know when this happened?"

"No, Carlisle is looking into it."

"When could she have been poisoned. she's only been here and at Charlie's house."

"School too, could it have been there?"

"I don't know anymore, I'm worried about her."

"Me too, if she doesn't live....the treaty will be broken."

"That's Sam's concern too."

Edward rubbed his cold hands up and down my back. he laughed.

"What?" Jacob questioned.

"I was going to ask her to marry me."

"What?"

"Yeah, I guess it's to late."

"I want to be mad but I can't. I just want what's best for her and if that means giving her life to a leech then so be it."

I shifted and wanted to say something. anything.

Carlisle walked in. He kneeled at my side.

"This is some medicine, it'll make you feel better." He injected it into side and I flinched. He inserted the vitamins into me and stood up.

"I'll be back to check on her. Rosalie and Alice want to bathe her."

"She can't move." Jacob interrupted.

"Jacob, this situation requires important measures and her life means more than any procedures we take to get there.
