Ooo, I like her first name!

Age: 12
Dang, she's really young. I'd see this a problem with targeted older readers and such. Your readers would more than likely be 12 and younger, as readers generally don't really like to read about characters below their age (unless it's a year or two younger.)

Background: Eila was born in the Philippines, but then moved to Alaska with her sisters and mother, their father working abroad all the time. She lives in a small town called Karrisken (made-up)
WOAH THAT'S A LARGE CLIMATE CHANGE.

Plot: Eila and her family moved to Karrisken when she was only 5, and four years after her mother mysteriously dissapeared. Police did anything to find her, but gave up. They claimed that she was dead after 3 weeks of investigation. At the funeral, Eila curiously peeked at the inside of the coffin and was shocked to find that it was empty. She then believed afterwards that her mother was not dead and tried to convince her sisters, but they scolded her to "accept the truth" That her mother was dead. She still believes it, and on January at the age of 12 she decided to go look for her mother herself, too determined to even go back on her decision. She packed her stuff and at 12 midnight she snuck out of the house. She went deep into the woods and hid inside a cave. When she woke up a purple light shone deep within the cave. Curious, she decided to follow the light, and was soon pulled into the strange land of Aqer. Guided by a journal hanging from a tree, she journeyed in the land. (Don't worry, she's still finding her mother. Evidence:in one chapter I'm planning, somewhere along the pages of the journal she's reading a picture of her mother holding her little self was taped on a page with the words: I really want my children to visit this place; the adventure I had was marvelous.)
WOAH THIS PLOT GAVE ME CHILLS. I love it! Again, I'm not too fond of her age, especially her going out by herself at 12.

Talents: She wields her knife pretty well for a 12 year old kid
Hmm... I feel kind of conflicted about this one. It makes sense for someone in Alaska to wield weapons well, but again, she's 12, I'm not too sure she's be GRAND at it... but hey, it could work!

Skills: has the ability to use the Echo (a common power in Aqer) but she can only use it for a few seconds before collapsing
I have no idea what Echo is.

Sexuality: Asexual

Significant other: none

Appearance: a girl with a fair skin tone and is about 5'2 in height. She wears a yellow jacket, a green bonnet, a pair of jeans and brown boots. She also carries around a slingbag with all her stuff
Cute!

Habits: tends to walk around aimlessly when thinking of stuff, likes to draw things in the air with her finger, cursing under her breath (sometimes)

Self confidence: high
I like that her confidence is really high! I wish more characters had high confidence.

Ruled by emotion/logic: more on logic, less on emotion
Oh dang, smart kid.

Strengths: close combat, annoying someone to death, fast runner
Close combat for a 12 year old? I don't know, I guess it's her age that's really throwing me off.

Weaknesses: magic combat, being annoyed to death, impatient, stress

Extra notes: she knows things more than the average 12 year old does. She might be called "not innocent" she's ignorant, but she'll listen to you once you've droned on for about five minutes

Constructive Criticism: I know that it's probably the strongest point of her character, but I really can't get past the fact that she's so young. Personally, I would bump her age up a few years, but she's your character!

Intrigue: 86%, I really do love this plot! I would love to see it on Wattpad!
