Fandom/OW: Fandom, Harry Potter

Name: Roman Kavanaugh
I love his name so much.

Plot: A squib since birth, wandmaking apprentice Roman's life is changed forever when a stranger offered him a broken wand to repair. An event that changed his whole life ensued, and before he knew it, a Hogwarts acceptance letter was at his disposal (a short summary :))
WAIT WHAT. I NEED MORE!

Age: He actually ages through the book, in his first appearance, however, he is 10.

Race: Human/Irish.

Background: Being born a squib, Roman was given up for adoption and passed around a couple of times. He wasn't abused, or mistreated horribly, people just couldn't bring themselves to love him, y'know? Him being a squib and all. Eventually, one day, Roman ran off from his orphanage and his first stop? Ollivander's. He didn't go inside, just stared from outside the window, wordlessly. He did eventually go back to the orphanage, but this became a routine - by the third day, Ollivander finally noticed the boy. They stared at each other for awhile, before Ollivander eventually opened the door to the shop for the boy. Roman was awfully curious regarding wands, and when he exhibited a lack of magical ability/knowledge Ollivander assumed that he was a late bloomer. It wasn't until a caretaker from the orphanage showed up to claim Roman that he learned that Roman was a squib. Eventually Roman became a regular visitor, watching Ollivander tamper and repair wands and helping him pick out wands (albeit randomly) for his clients. The third week of doing this rolled around, and when Roman scurried to Ollivander's, he wasn't there to be found. He waited, staring through the window like he always did, when Ollivander eventually showed up from roaming the Diagon Alley. He had a rolled-up paper in his fist, and he ushered Roman inside. That afternoon, no caretaker came to claim Roman. He was fine with it.

Since then, Roman grew up to be the wandmaker's apprentice.
Omg, you have no idea how much I love this! I love that he's a squib, I love how Ollivander takes him in, I love everything.

Talents/Skills: He has an aptitude for flowers, and gardening. It was only a small past-time. He keeps a flowerbed outside Ollivander's that he tends to traditionally, he enjoys the slow-burn process of growing his flowers, untouched by magic.
Aww, what a babe!

Sexuality: Roman is gay :)
GET IT, ROMAN!

Friends: I can only say stuff pre-plot, and he doesn't have many friends pre-plot. Safe to say he has basically none except for Ollivander.

Significant Other: ;)

Appearance: Platinum blonde hair, but it was untamable, typically dishevelled, and very curly. His hair is at normal male length, not past his ears. He has grey eyes, with a blue-ish ring. His features are pretty feminine, with a dainty nose, small heart-shaped lips, and pale white skin. By feminine features, I meant a rounded and feminine jaw, with high cheekbones and small chin. However, he has a willowy figure, standing at 6'0 when he was 16.
I love him, oh my goodness. I can't. Oh my goodness.

Distinguishing feature: His posture is straight up, and while standing, his waist would be slightly tilted to the side. Other than that, you can typically make him out in a crowd because of the permanent 'fish-out-of-water' look on his face.
AND PROBABLY BECAUSE HE'S ALREADY FREAKISHLY TALL.

Habits: He swings his hips subtly when walking, he speaks like a bulldozer even when not nervous, and he usually picks at his nails, stemming from when he usually picks the dirt from under his nails after gardening.
I like how his habits make sense with what I already know about him! Props to you!

Self-confidence Level: He is confident, and usually seems cocky. Sometimes he is, sometimes he isn't. You can't really tell, since his disposition seems lightly snobbish (straight back, slanted hips, chin tilted upwards, permanent smile that seems the slightest bit condescending.)
I am in love with this character.

Logic/Emotion: 65% logic, the remainder is emotion.

Introvert/Extrovert: Ambivert. He sticks to his own circle of friends but will entertain new people if necessary.

Strengths: He can articulate himself very well, he has an expansive understanding of wands and languages, he can run pretty fast, he can grasp things fairly quickly, and he's good on a broom.

Weaknesses: A less-than-friendly disposition, absence of personal magic, his surprisingly slow grasp on magic, and despite his skill on the broom he can't play Quidditch to save his life.
All me.

Constructive Criticism: What a way to end my book with a bang! I'm so sorry that this wasn't very constructive, but he's too perfect. He has a good balance of strengths and flaws, both physical and mental. Ugh, I love him so much. This book better be on Wattpad or I will find you.

Can I take him home and keep him?

Intrigue: 100%, I really really love him.
