Chapter 43: Try (II)

Vanessa's POV

I drive over to Starbucks, and still see signs for the Unicorn Frappucino. Maybe I can get that for Camila.

I walk in. "Welcome to Star--Hey girly!" The barista exclaims.

I look over to see Melissa at the register. "Hi!" I smile back at her. She comes from around the counter and hugs me, so I hug her back.

"You look like a totally different person."

"I feel like a totally different person." I chuckle.

The last time I was in here was last year...at that time, I was anorexic, bulimic, I was cutting--you get my point.

"What would you like?" She asks.

"Do you still have the ingredients for the Unicorn Frappucino?" I ask.

"In fact I do, I figured you would ask for that." She chuckles.

"Let me call Camila," I say.

"Okay," She says.

"Hello?" Camila answers.

"Hey Mila," I say.

"Hey munchkin," Camila says. "What's up?"

"I'm at Starbucks, and I was wondering if you wanted the Unicorn Frappucino," I say.

"Yes yes yes," Camila says.

"You could get me one too," Lauren says.

"I want something with Green Tea in it," Dinah says.

"Ever since you went overseas, you've been in love with Green Tea." I chuckle.

"Don't blame me, blame the maker." Dinah chuckles.

"What do you want Lauren?" I ask.

"The Chai Créme Frappucino," I say.

"And I want the White Chocolate one, thanks," Ally says.

"You're kidding me right." I chuckle.

"Nope," Ally says, causing me to lowly groan, and her to laugh. "I'll see you when you get here, okay?"

"Okay,"

"I love you," They all say.

"Love you too," I say, hanging up and looking at her. "I come to Starbucks for two drinks and I end up with 6."

She laughs. "What'd they want?"

I name off what they wanted, before getting a text from Normani.

"Cupcake Creme," I say.

"Good choice," Melissa says. "If she doesn't want it, I'll be highly offended and I might cry."

This makes me laugh. "Alrighty then."

She goes and makes the drinks, putting them in front of me. "I saw that you finally got with Mani." She smirks.

"...Where are you going with this?" I ask.
