"Tell me more about her," Vanessa says.
Normani sighs. "Basically what was happening is that...she wanted to be my girlfriend but I said no,"
"Why?"
"...you know, she's a woman. This was like...either right before or right after I found out I was pregnant, so I didn't want to start making advances on her when I had a boyfriend."
"Is that the only reason you didn't get with her or not?" Vanessa asks.
"Maybe I should just tell you everything....,"
*flashback, 1 1/2 years ago*
Normani and Kehlani have just finished their time slot for today, and are laying on the bed just to make small pillow talk. "How's it been going mami?"
Normani couldn't help but crack a small smile at the nickname as she draws patterns with her finger against Kehlani's defined abs. "I've been good I guess,"
"You guess? Why? Who do I need to smack some sense into?" Kehlani asks, making Normani laugh.
"You don't need to smack anyone Lani. They ain't ready." Normani laughs.
"Are you sure? Because some of these people you run into try and take what's mine, you feel me?" Kehlani smirks, cupping Normani's center.
This action causes Normani to emit a high pitched squeal, before giggling. "Laniii! Stooop."
Kehlani laughs. "What are you talking about? I'm just showing you what I mean by....you know, physical depiction."
Normani purses her lips. "Mhm, I bet you are,"
"Tell me what you meant though," Kehlani says.
"Meant by what?"
"When you said "you guess," is something wrong?"
Normani is immediately confused. "Nothing's wrong,"
"Are you sure?" Kehlani asks.
Normani sighs. "Yes, I'm sure,"
"Why'd you sigh?" Kehlani asks.
Normani groans. "Kehlani. You're being extra."
"No I'm not. I'm just making sure you're okay because I care,"
"Do you really care about me? Or...do you just act like this because we've started fucking on a regular basis?"
"I mean you are pretty amazing at this whole sex thing...." Kehlani smirks.
"How did I know it was coming?" Normani chuckles.
"That's not it though. You're insanely beautiful, and I hope whoever you pick treats you like the queen you are," Kehlani says.
"Keep talking like that and it might be you," Normani says.
Kehlani lightly chuckles. "Stop fucking with me Mani."
"I'm not,"
"What if David heard you saying that?" Kehlani smirks.
"Nah, stop playing." Normani nervously chuckles.
Kehlani laughs, moving closer to her. "You know I'm just fucking with you mami."
"Yes I do, and it's annoying," Normani says.
