Vanessa's POV

I'm standing on the other side of the court, waiting for a play, before I see Sammy come in, wearing my jersey.

I look over to the bleachers, and notice that Normani is sending a quick text message. I catch Arielle's glance, that says "what the hell is she doing here with your jersey on?" I look at Frankie, who looks at the door, talking to the coach and getting the security guard to go over to her. "Ma'am we're going to have to ask you to leave," He says.

"Why? I didn't do anything," Sammy says.

Frankie walks over to her. "He asked you in the most polite way possible to leave,"

"For what? All I wanted to do was watch the game," Sammy says.

"She just said she doesn't want you here," Frankie says.

"Fine." Sammy snarls.

"And this is mine," Frankie says, pulling the too big jersey off her with one hand.

"Wait! Give that back! Please!" Sammy exclaims, tears starting to form in her eyes.

"Bye bitch," Frankie says, closing the door.

Oh well, she'll live.

Normani's POV

Vanessa's team is behind by 3 points, with a minute left in the game. The other team is hogging the ball. One of her teammates get it, and pass it to her with 30 seconds left.

She almost loses it multiple times, but she crosses up the people trying to take it from her. The way it's looking she's not going to make it.

She manages to shoot as the buzzer goes off and it goes in. The crowd goes wild, as everyone gets off the bleachers to go find their kids, while I go to find my baby.

It's like she was looking for me, and when she catches my gaze, I squeal happily; before jumping on her. "Baby I'm so proud of you!" My weight propels us around in a circle so she doesn't fall over, making her laugh.

I know there's gonna be at least one camera that catches this, but I don't care what any media outlet has to say about my relationship.

I've been with her for only 6 months, but I've known her for almost 6 years, which feels like an eternity.

"Thank you for believing in me," Vanessa says.

"Baby you don't have to thank me for that. I'm your girlfriend and I'm going to support you in everything you do,"

"You deserve to be thanked for once in your life,"

She never fails to make me smile without even trying, so I lean over and kiss her softly. "We may not see eye to eye on everything, but just know that I'm always with you every step of the way."

She puts me down and that's when she notices that I'm wearing her jersey. "You actually wore my jersey...."

"Of course I did. You gave it to me so I feel like it's my duty to wear it,"
