No One's POV

Vanessa wakes up in her bed, which feels awkward to her, but she thinks nothing of it. She almost dozes off to sleep, before she feels the cold space beside her; making her begin to cry in panic.

Meanwhile, Normani is in the bathroom towel drying her hair, before she hears faint crying. She immediately drops the extra towel and ties her robe before going in Vanessa's room and hugging her tightly. "I'm here, stop crying,"

Vanessa sniffles. "I thought you'd left,"

"Of course not, I wouldn't ever leave you. I love you,"

"I love you too,"

"Are you going to school today?" Normani asks curiously.

"I guess so,"

Normani smiles. "That's good, go get ready then,"

"Okay,"

For about 10 minutes, Vanessa just stands under the water, before the bathroom door opens. "Hey, can I get in?"

"Sure," Vanessa says, so Ally gets in beside her.

"I figured we could take one together today even though you always leave me freezing,"

"Lucky for you I already washed,"

"I'm surprised I didn't hear Normani in here." Ally smirks.

Vanessa smacks her leg, making her laugh. "Ow! Stop abusing me!"

"You asked for it, talking that foolishness." Vanessa chuckles.

"I'm not even talking foolishness because you know you'll do it later on in your relationship," Ally says.

"Okay but, this isn't later on. Let's leave that conversation under this shower head," Vanessa says.

"Fine, but don't be surprised when it happens," Ally says.

"I never said I would be,"

"I know, but I'm just making sure,"

"You make no sense now, just shut up." Vanessa chuckles.

"Mhm, you owe me when it happens," Ally says.

"Looks like you got spared." Vanessa chuckles.

Ally strikes up conversation again after her and Vanessa have gotten dressed.

"I don't understand why you won't give her anything,"

"I'm not quite so sure if she's on the same page as me....," Vanessa says.

"She's obviously got to be on the same wavelength some way some how if she said yes to you,"

"I didn't even really ask her out, that's why I think that,"

"If you see the problem, fix it. It's your job to fix it if you want this to work for the long run," is what Ally replies, before walking out of the room.

"Wait-" Vanessa begins to stop Ally, but then realizes that it's no use.

What was once a simple dare has become much more.

When Vanessa gets into the school, people start immediately trying to talk to her.

"What did she say?!" A cadet from ROTC asks.

"Yeah, what'd she say?!" Someone else pipes in.

"Can you guys chill out?" Felicia chuckles. "But yeah what'd she say?"
