Falling Asleep Again

Beep beep beep

"Mmm!?" SinB hit the snooze button, her face still shoved into her pillow. She hit the snooze button another two times before she got up.
"6:30am?! I'm gonna be late! I didn't even take a shower!" She got a towel and ran into the bathroom only to take another cold shower.

"SinB you're gonna be late for school."

"I know, mom!"

"Don't yell at me."

"Just leave me alone, okay?!"

"SinB-"

"Mom!"

"...ok." Her mom went downstairs and made breakfast. Today SinB were pink jeans, black shoes, and her black oversized hoodie.

"Bye, mom."

"Wait but I made you...breakfast..." SinB was already out the door.

"My, my, Hwang Eunbi sleeping in class again. What is this, the 9th time this month?" The teacher slammed her hand on SinB's desk.

"Huh? Sorry m'am."

"Wake up late again?"

"Yeah..."

"Where's your book?"

"Oh. it's in my bag." SinB reached for her bag but couldn't find it.

"Well?"

"I left it at home..."

"Go call your mother then and see if she can bring it to you." SinB stood up and went out to the hall to call her mom.

"I heard you fell asleep again in class." Sowon greeted SinB by teasing her.

"Do we really need to talk about this right
now?"

"Yes. Have you been sleeping? Are you okay? Are you sick? Are you stressed? Have you been eating? Are you on your period? Are-"

"Be quiet will you?" She interrupted her.

"Alright, alright. Oh, here come Yerin and Yuju, act cool, be nice". Sowon pointed and SinB sat up straight and watched them walk towards them while they flirted.

"No you're prettier."

"No you are."

"No you."

"You-"

"Alright we get it, can you guys just eat now?" SinB glared at them.

"Someone is in a bad mood." Yuju sat down.

"Or she just slept on the wrong side of the desk." Yerin joked and they all laughed except for SinB.

"Yeah, yeah, make fun of me all you want."

"Come on, SinB, we're just playing around" Eunha nudged her arm.

"Still a child I see?" SinB gave Eunha a cold yet questioning look.

"Hey, don't talk to me like that, especially with that look. You know, if you keep making that face, your face is gonna stay like that forever."

"Lies." SinB scoffed.

"Nuh uh!"

"That's just what parents say to kids." Umji chimed in.

"...you caught me"
