"So how is it going having to be forced to live with Sowon's sister?" Linzy teasingly laughed.

"I can't stand her." Eunha responded as she got prepared for the game.

"From what I've heard from your friends, she's a total bitch."

"She is. I can't wait until she leaves. Honestly, I'm debating leaving because she's so fucking annoying." Eunha rolled her eyes as she got her tennis shoes on.

"Where would you go? Your parents won't let you back with them."

"Yuju always lets me stay with her when I need to, so that's always an option."

"Won't her parents be annoyed?"

"No. Her parents love me. Honestly, they'd probably think me and Yuju are dating if they didn't know that I have a girlfriend."

"Wait her parents know about you and Sowon?"

"Yeah of course they do. Yuju's parents aren't like my mother."

"That's nice that you always have a second option." Linzy frowned.

"You know," Eunha paused for a moment, "you can always talk to me, right? And if you ever need a place to stay, Sowon has a guest room. You don't have to stay with your asshole of a boyfriend."

"I can't leave him. He'll beat the shit out of me if I ever tried to leave his ass."

"You shouldn't stay in that relationship."

"It's okay, he's paying for everything anyways."

"That doesn't mean he has the right to hit you."

"I'm fine, don't worry about me. Let's win this game." Linzy gave Eunha a high-five and headed out to the gym.

"Eunha, the whole gang is here." Eunbi entered the locker room with the pack behind her.

"You know you guys can't be in here unless you're on the tennis team, right?" Eunha was happy to see them, but she didn't want them getting in trouble.

"Oh, we'll wait for you out on the benches then." Eunbi waved goodbye and lead the pack to the gym.

"You ready to win?" Haeun nudged her as they went out to the gym.

"Me and you together could beat them. You don't cheat though, do you?" Eunha suddenly asked.

"Of course not. I'm just naturally this good, not as good as you though."

"You're almost just as good as me." Eunha felt a bit pressured to compliment her even though she knew she was obviously better at the sport.

"Lier. You could be a famous tennis player. You will go down in the hall of fame."

"I sure hope so." Eunha smiled at the thought of that.

"Alright let's do this." Haeun opened the door for her.

Eunha stopped in her tracks for a moment. She felt a bit anxious and annoyed when she saw Eunbi and Umji messing around with Sowon. She could tell they were up to no good.

"Sowon, think fast!" Eunbi threw the tennis ball at her, expecting her to be able to catch it because of her wolf-like reflexes, but unfortunately it hit Sowon right in the face.

"What the hell was that for?"

"Why are your reflexes so slow lately?" Umji questioned.

"Nothing. I'm just tired. Stop asking me so many questions." Sowon softly slapped the top of Umji's head as she sat down on the bench next to her.

"Is something wrong with your girlfriend?" Linzy asked before they started the game.

"No she's perfectly fine." Eunha brushed it off her shoulder.

"Are you sure? Because Haeun beat her pretty quickly for only being a new omega."

"She's just tired. It's nothing, really. Let's win this." Eunha changed the subject as soon as possible.

The team got into their positions. Linzy was up front, Eunha in the middle, and Haeun was positioned in the back. They usually used this format because it worked well. The second the whistle blew Sowon covered her ears, as if it were the loudest thing she's ever heard. Fortunately, nobody noticed Sowon's sudden and frantic reaction. The team kept on playing.

"Oh my god, Sowon, keep your head down." Eunbi quickly put her hand on Sowon's head and pushed it down.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Your eyes keep flickering...yellow. Stop. Why are you flashing your eyes?" Eunbi kept Sowon's head down while the team played.

"I don't know. I can't make it go away."

"Why are your eyes yellow? Aren't they supposed to be blue?" Umji chimed in.

"Umji, help me get her out of her, she can't change her eyes back to brown." The two grabbed her and dragged her back into the school, making sure to keep her eyes hidden from the crowd of people.

"What happened to your eyes?" Umji lifted Sowon's head up.

"I'm becoming human..."

"There's no way..." Eunbi took a step back. "A wolf can't go back to being human. It's not possible."

"Well look at me Eunbi! Look at my fucking eyes!" Sowon pointed at her eyes. She was freaking out.

"This has to do with Yerin's aunt, doesn't it? She did this to you." Umji came up with a conclusion, assuming she was right.

"I don't know what the hell she did to me. All I remember is waking up inside a church in Mexico. It took me all night to run back to Korea. I didn't want anyone to realize I was gone."

"So that's where you were. How did you even get to Mexico?"

"I don't know. I think Yerin's aunt brought me there. She did something horrible to me. She's turning me into a human. I don't know how it's possible, but she somehow did it."

"We have to figure this out before you're completely human."

"If you turn back to a human we can just give you the bite, right?" Eunbi was uncertain.

"I mean you could, but the bite can kill me too."

"What do you mean?"

"Sometimes the bite will kill you. You either die or become one of us."

"I'm sure you're strong enough."

"It's not about being strong enough to handle it. Sometimes your body doesn't react to the bite well, and other times you might bite into an artery."

"Is that why Yuju is a kanima and a wolf, she didn't react to the bite well?" Eunbi questioned.

"No, that's not it. Sometimes the shape you take is a reflection of your personality. That's what makes Yuju so special, she's a mix, which never happens. It is almost more rare than a true alpha. She might not be stronger than you," Sowon looked at Eunbi, "but she is more rare than you which makes more people want to kill her, they want both the power of a wolf and a snake."

"But a snake can't do much."

"That's not true. Even though you're stronger than Yuju, she can take you out within the blink of an eye. She has a tail and venom, she is a force to be reckoned with."

"That's exactly why you need her in your pack." Umji added.

"Forget about Yuju. What are we supposed to do about your eyes? How do we get them back to blue?"

"I'm not sure. Maybe we have to kill Yerin's aunt?" Sowon suggested.

"I'm going to take you home, we'll figure something out from there." Eunbi lead them out of the bathroom.

Umji was about to split up with them when all the lights suddenly shut off. The trio could hear people out on the field screaming. The three stood there in confusion for a second, until they heard a familiar scream. Umji and Eunbi had a shocked and fearful reaction to the scream, but Sowon couldn't hear anything that the average human couldn't.

"That was Eunha..."
