Eunbi opened her eyes but was only met with darkness. The back of her head was throbbing and her knees felt weak. It was when she tried to move that she realized she is chained to a wall.
"Look who's finally awake." The lights flickered on. Eunbi glared at the man leaning against the door.
"Where is she?" Eunbi said through gritted teeth. She looked all around but Yerin was nowhere in sight.
"Oh your friend? Yerin? Well we wouldn't want her to find out about the monster inside you, now would we? You don't seem to remember, it's a full moon tonight and still, you don't know how to control your own body. I did have a plan in mind, I want you to lose all your friends. So when the moon becomes full I will bring Yerin in here to watch you shift. It will be such a pleasant sight when Yerin looks at you with disgust and hate." The man laughed evilly. At this point Eunbi felt like giving up. What was the point anyways? Everything was over for her. Her once clenched fist weakly hit the hard floor.
"Give up now? Good. I bet your pack is looking for you. Why should they be protecting you? You're the alpha! You're supposed to protect them! You're supposed to be stronger! Yet you can't even control yourself on a full moon? And you call yourself an alpha?! You're no alpha, Hwang Eunbi! I deserve to be an alpha! I can treat them better than you ever can!" Eunbi shut her eyes tightly and covered her ears. He's right, she doesn't deserve to be an alpha. She doesn't even deserve to have superhuman abilities.
"Please don't blame me for your pain.
I didn't do anything wrong. I don't even know you." Eunbi stared up at the dark figure standing in front of her."I want to be an alpha and you stole that from me. I even tried to kill other alphas to gain their power but I never won. I want to be a chosen one like you, a true alpha." The man sat down in front of Eunbi and took his mask off.
"Don't you see? I want to be just like you. I envy you...a lot." Eunbi stared at the burn mark on half of his face while he talked about how much he wishes to be her. "Well, would you look at that, the moon is almost full. I better go get Yerin now." The man stood up, leaving the dungeon-like room.
Eunbi didn't know what to do. She tried and tried to break free from the chains but her efforts went to no use. Her friend is gonna find out about who she really is and there's nothing she can do about it.
Eunbi kept her head down and didn't dare look up when the lights came back on. SinB could hear the man tying Yerin to a chair in front of her. The man knelt down besides Eunbi and whispered in her ear.
"When I turn these lights off she's gonna see the real you. She'll see those red eyes that will be mine after I kill you. I'm gonna make her watch me tear you apart into shreds. After that, I'm gonna murder the people you love most, starting with your mother. You can't do anything to stop me. I'm the alpha now." Eunbi clenched her fist. She knew what he was doing, he was using her anger to make her shift. He walked back over to the lights but didn't turn them off.
"You're weak, SinB." He smirked. Eunbi tried so hard to not shift but she could already feel her claws growing. "No one will ever love you." Now her fangs were next, "You're a monster." He looked at his watch and turned the lights off. Eunbi's eyes changed to red so she kept her head down, "Lift your head up!" He tried to lift Eunbi's head up but she refused to look Yerin in the eyes and show her true identity.
Eunbi knew this is the time. The time to show the truth. She could feel the hair on her body growing. This was it. Now Yerin knows what Eunbi really is.

Eunbi's mother kicked open the door to the police station and marched over to the front desk. She was beyond furious, but more than that, she was scared.
"How may I-"
"My daughter is missing. You have to find her!" She interrupted the officer.
"And when did you last see her?"
"Last night! I haven't seen her since last night!"
"I'll file a report but for now-"
"I'm not waiting on your slow ass! You're gonna find my daughter and you're gonna-"
"Mrs. Hwang please calm down. Freaking out won't do us anything in this situation." The officer calmly spoke to her. Sowon lightly pushed aside Mrs. Hwang.
"Let me take care of this, I'm much calmer. Hello, my name is Sowon. I'm a close friend of Eunbi. She's been missing since last night and I've looked every place she might be but she's nowhere to be found. Could you please help us? Quickly." Sowon gave the officer a pleading look. He couldn't refuse her adorable puppy dog eyes.
"I'll file a report and get right on it. Stay here." The officer weakly smiled before grabbing a folder and leaving.
"Sit down over there. I'm going to call her father." Mrs. Hwang directed Sowon to the cushioned chairs.
Sowon impatiently tapped her foot on the hard cold floor while fidgeting with her thumbs. She kept her gaze on the clock while waiting for Mrs. Hwang to come back.
Sowon tried to call Yerin but she didn't pick up. Her next resort was Eunha and then Umji. Neither of them answered either. Sowon began to stress. Everyone is gone. Why? What if she's next to go?
Mrs. Hwang came back into the police station but Sowon was gone. Where could she have gone? Or did someone take her?
