Sowon paced back and forth by her front door. She only had twenty minutes until school started and she had to make her decision by then. She didn't have much time left. In fact, she had almost no time left. She was only given about another week or so, then he would be coming back to take her.

Sowon didn't bother grabbing her bags and other school supplies. She reached for her car keys and ran as fast as she could to her car. Her hands kept tapping against the steering wheel as she drove. She was nervous as hell. She was also angry because she hit every red light on her way there.

By the time she got there the bell was already ringing for students to head to their classes. Sowon panicked. She looked over the crowd of students without having to get on her tip-toes since she's already taller than most of them. She didn't know Cao Lu's exact scent so instead she searched for Eunbi's knowing that Cao Lu was most likely near her.

Then she found her, but not only by Eunbi's scent. She saw the two girls walking up the stairs together while they talked to each other. Sowon raced over there and pushed everyone out of her way. She got many mean looks and earned some rude symbols from their hands but that was okay with her. As long as she got to Cao Lu in time.

Umji was standing by her locker and saw Sowon running up the stairs, only a few feet behind Cao Lu and Eunbi now. She wasn't going to stop her, she thought about it though. She knew it was going happen either way. Sowon always found a way, always.

"Hey Eunbi" Sowon faked a smile. "Cao Lu can I talk to you for a second? In private?" Sowon raised an eyebrow. It was utterly suspicious. The two girls never talked to each other.

"Sure" Cao Lu waved to Eunbi and followed behind Sowon. She couldn't help but be nervous. She knew Sowon was Eunbi's friend so she thought maybe Sowon found out about the kiss between her and Eunbi.

"Get in my car. It'll only be a minute or so" Sowon unlocked her car doors and waited for Cao Lu to get in. She couldn't believe Cao Lu was doing everything she told her to do. She was such a fool.

"Am I in trouble or something? Did I do something wrong?" She swallowed the lump in her throat.

Sowon didn't say a word in response. She started the car and quickly drove out of the school zone. Cao Lu kept asking her questions and was getting more worried by the second. By the looks of her, she could already tell that Sowon wasn't such a great person.

"Where are you taking me?" Cao Lu tried to escape from the car but Sowon kept the doors locked. There was no way out for her. If she broke the window Sowon would've just grabbed her. Sowon was faster and stronger.

"Doesn't matter. All you need to know is that you're going to be fine, I hope" of course Sowon was worried too. She had to worry about whether Cao Lu's body would reject the bite or not, which is exactly what happened to Yuju and is the reason why she is part wolf and part kanima.

If her body rejected it there was even a possibility of her dying. Sowon could only pray for the best. Neither of them had control over what would happen, but Sowon did have control over her actions. It seemed like she was being a bit dramatic but she really didn't know how much the alpha was capable of, no one did.

"What are you going to do to me? What is going to happen to me?" She clenched her fist. She was about to have a panic attack.

"You're about to find out" Sowon unlocked the doors. Cao Lu's heart stopped when she looked at the empty building in front of her.

"Follow me" Sowon directed her into the building.

There was nothing inside except for empty shelves and a desk and chair. It was dirty with dust everywhere. It was clearly an old building that was left over two decades ago. Sowon found the perfect spot for this situation. She did feel a little bad since Cao Lu knew nothing that was about to happen to her. Her whole life was about to change, for the better or worse.

"There's nothing here. What could you possibly want to show me?" She turned around and immediately stumbled to the floor when she saw those dark red eyes.

"I have no choice. You were the perfect victim for this case. You seemed cold and heartless, I need a person like you" Sowon knelt down beside her.

"I...what?" She was utterly confused and afraid. She wasn't afraid of what was to come, but the thing that scared her the most was the monster in front of her eyes.

"I'm sorry I have to do this. You need to protect me. You're going to be one of us now. I don't care if you die or not, as long as I live in the end. You are my bait" Sowon grabbed her wrist and turned it to the palm side of her hand.

"Wait. No. Please don't do this to me! I don't know what you are!" She squirmed and tried to break free from Sowon's clutches but Sowon kept a tight hold on her.

"You're like me now. A wolf" Sowon raised Cao Lu's wrist to her sharp teeth.

"Please" she cried and cried for mercy.

Sowon opened her mouth. Her teeth sunk into her warm flesh. Sowon closed her eyes while she listened to Cau Lu screaming in agonizing pain. Even when Sowon let go it still felt like the pain was gnawing at her wrist. She was turning, and that was the most painful part.

Sowon stood back and watched Cao Lu arch her back. She was freaking out on the floor and moving her body all over the place. It brought back so many memories of when Sowon did the same to Yuju. It was hard to watch but Sowon felt better knowing that she had another wolf to protect her.

Sowon turned around and walked outside while she wiped the blood off her face. She listened to Cao Lu calling out multiple different names. No one could hear her. Sowon got in her car and left her there. Cao Lu would come back to find Sowon. She knew exactly where to go.
