Girl Who Cried Wolf

Pack

SinB's body is almost fully recovered besides her chest. She can still see some of her flesh but she's feeling a lot better now. She was glad she can finally move around and practice with the others.

Right now they're waiting for Umji to lead the white wolf to the school. SinB can smell her nearby. She's getting closer each second. She can also smell Yerin, the wolf. She still can't believe it's her.

"She's here." SinB got in her running position. They agreed that SinB would lead the wolf into the school's basement since she's one of the fastest and strongest. Umji led the wolf here because she's smarter and knows how to not get killed in the process, unlike SinB.

"Ready? Go!" Sowon and Eunha kicked down the doors and ran away before the white wolf saw them. Once it's eyes darted towards SinB, she took off at top speed.

SinB took sharp corners, she slid a few times. She was surprised she didn't fall. When she got to the basement she pushed the door open. Once the wolf came in, Sowon locked them inside. Now it was just SinB against Yerin.

SinB growled which earned a more aggressive growl back. Just a few more minutes and the rest of them will come in. SinB showed her fangs to warn Yerin but she seemed unfazed.

She hit her paw on the floor then pounced on SinB. Once Sowon heard her body hit the ground she opened the door and they all ran in.

Sowon and Eunha have the same full wolf form. Their fur is gray and white.

Umji is tawny brown.

Sowon rammed into Yerin's side and she fell over. Eunha dragged Yerin around the floor until she escaped from her teeth. Umji tried to strike her in the face with her claw but Yerin went underneath her extended arm and flipped Umji over. Now she was starting to fight.

SinB pounced on the white wolf and tried to bite at its neck but she failed in doing so every time. Yerin pushed SinB off her with her hind legs and SinB fell on her back.

Sowon pulled SinB back before Yerin could scratch her face. Eunha and Umji both took the advantage of Yerin's back being faced towards them and they both pounced on her. She went straight down onto the floor. She struggled to get back up but when she did she ran to the corner of the room. She's scared now.

Then she howled. It seemed like she already had a pack waiting for her because then they heard a whole bunch of bodies being slammed against the door.

Unexpectedly the door bursted open and a pack of wolves came running in. There's no way they can fight them all. SinB howled to signal her pack to leave. Sowon was first to leave. SinB made sure everyone was out before she left.

When SinB turned around the wolves were still chasing them down like police officers. They're gaining up on them. SinB stomped her paw into the ground and flashed her red eyes at the pack. She growled loudly and ran towards the pack of wolves. The others seemed to get the message and followed her lead.

SinB kept seeing snapshots of the white wolf throwing her to ground whenever a wolf rammed into her side. She still remembers it so vividly. It scares her.

Sowon tried to defend SinB but failed when 3 wolves jumped on her. SinB felt bad for making them sacrifice their lives. She felt the need to be stronger. All SinB has to do is bite Yerin's neck without her biting SinB.

SinB dug her paw into the floor before she sprinted towards Yerin. She swooped under Yerin's head and dug her sharp teeth right into her neck. Once the pack realized SinB has taken down their leader they all ran at her.

Luckily, Umji and Eunha fended off the attacks as best as they could. SinB dug her fangs deeper into her neck. Finally she gave up and fell on the floor. SinB flashed her red eyes at her and scratched the side of her stomach.

SinB was about to make her shift into a human until she heard Sowon whimper. SinB turned around and saw her laying helplessly on the floor. That's when SinB knew she must retreat. SinB howled, signaling them to go back to Sowon's house. They left without a trace. SinB did make sure that they didn't follow them.

They all seemed exhausted. Once they got their clothes back on they laid on the floor and gasped for air. That was harder than expected. SinB didn't know she had a pack of her own either.

"That was rough. This is gonna be harder than I thought." Umji stated the obvious.

"What do we do now? Sit around and wait for them to attack or do we strike first?" Eunha asked.

"I don't know. We should wait to see what they do next." Sowon suggested. It was the best idea at the moment.

"Yeah." SinB muttered.

"Hey, SinB, do you perhaps know anything about that white wolf?" Sowon's question sparked an immediate and tense fear in SinB.

"No. Why? Do you think I know something about it? Because I don't." SinB spoke fast. She hoped she wasn't being obvious.

"No, I was just wondering. Who do you think the wolf might be? It's very strong, and since when did it have a pack? We're up against a very strong pack." Sowon sighed.

"Yeah...but we can do it." SinB tried her best to encourage them.
