"Your recovery was very fast, abnormally fast." The doctor was actually quite confused as to how Eunha healed so rapidly. "I still want you to take these pain pills everyday because it'll still hurt a bit. It's not a very strict regimen, but please make sure you keep taking them. If you're still in pain after this round of pain pills then I can give you more. Other than that, you're free to go on home."

"Thank you." Eunha smiled at him. She reached out for Sowon to help her walk. Her leg went back to looking normal, but it was still difficult for her to walk properly.

"How will you go up and down the stairs at home?" Sowon questioned as she helped her walk down the halls.

"I'll sleep on the couch for a few nights. It's already been a week, I'm sure I'll be able to walk on my own in a few days."

"But I don't want to go to bed without you next to me." She whined.

"It's only temporarily." Eunha rolled her eyes along with a smile.

"Jung Eunbi!" The group of girls threw their hands in the air once she came out of the building.

"Don't scare me like that." Eunha placed her hand over her chest along with a sigh.

"But all we did was say your name."

"Exactly. I thought you were my mother for a second."

"Oh yeah, we should've said Eunha." Yerin frowned.

"Well, thanks I guess?" Eunha smiled as she looked at the flowers in Umji's hands that were obviously meant for her.

"So, I didn't know what to get you so I got flowers for you." Umji hesitantly handed them to her, fearing that Eunha would reject them.

"They're beautiful. Thanks." Eunha wrapped one arm around Umji to give her a hug.

"I guess we should let you get home now."

"Where is Haeun?" Eunha suddenly noticed that the youngest girl was nowhere to be found.

"She feels too ashamed to look you in the eyes." Yuju mentioned with a frown.

"Oh. She does know I'm sorry for yelling at her, right?"

"Yeah, I already told her. She still feels guilty."

"I'll talk to her later then. I'm gonna go now, my leg is starting to hurt standing up."

"We will see you soon." The group sent her off.

A young man opened his eyes, finding himself in his car. He must've fell asleep, yet he doesn't remember getting in his car. He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head. He tried to move his arm to feel the bump on his head, that was when he realized he was tied down.

He became anxious and confused. He looked out the car window and saw a man standing there with a gallon of gasoline. The car was parked in an empty parking lot late at night. The man stood there with an evil smirk.

"What are you doing?" He asked, still moving his hands around to get out.

The man didn't respond. He began to pour gasoline over the car and on his body. The fear and panic in his eyes did not faze the other man, rather it excited him. He grabbed a lighter out of his pocket and backed away.

"What are you doing?! Don't do this!" He kept plunging forward, trying to get his arms free. He didn't understand why an officer would hurt another fellow officer.

He looked down at his chest, seeing that his badge wasn't on his uniform anymore. He looked up when he heard the lighter open. The man stood there for a moment with a smile. Without another thought, he threw the lighter at the car and walked away, the car burning down in flames along with the body behind him.

"Don't you think this whole benefactor thing is actually pretty scary?" Yuju asked.

"It was, but I think it's over now. After Sowon's sister killed the main man, the money stopped getting transferred and there's been no attacks since. I think he was the leader." Umji shrugged. She knew there was no need to worry now, at least she hoped not.

"At least we haven't had to deal with any killers since the berserkers. Life has been pretty good. We haven't had to deal with any creatures in awhile."

"Maybe they were the last ones. Maybe now we can go back to living a normal life."

"But it does make me worry that something is coming, something bigger and even more powerful."

"I think we'll be fine."

"Oh, hold on." Yuju fished for her phone when it began ringing.

Umji waited patiently for her to finish the call. She could've listened to their conversation if she wanted to, but she knew it was disrespectful so she stayed out of it. But she couldn't help but notice Yuju's facial expressions. She looked a bit confused and shocked.

"What was that about?" Umji asked once Yuju was done.

"My father. He said he'll be working another late shift tonight at the sheriffs station."

"Why? Is something wrong?"

"One of the officers are missing, or he just isn't coming back to work, so my father has to take over his shift."

"I hope the officer is okay."

"...me too."

An officer sat down at his desk with a smile. He was glad to finally get that over with. He watched all the officers in the station as his computer powered on. He went back to work on his computer as if nothing just happened, as if he didn't just burn a man alive.

The sheriff's station remained pretty quiet most of the night. Most officers left besides the ones working night shift. Everything was like a normal night until the door flung open. The officer stepped back in surprise.

The man he had lit on fire came through the door. He was naked with black covering his body from the smoke and fire. He went directly towards the officer and attacked him. He repeatedly punched him until another officer grabbed him and pulled him back.

"How are you not dead?" He looked up at the man in awe. He wasn't human, but he wasn't a werewolf either.
