"Can you at least help me please? She's a lot heavier than she looks." Umji panted as she dragged the body to the river next to Sowon's house.

"My back hurts." Yuju stood there complaining.

"Get the fuck over here." Umji gave her a deadly look. She was being serious.

"I'm serious! Do you not remember that she attacked me? My body hurts."

"Exactly so come over here so I can help you with the pain!" Umji dropped the arms to the lifeless body and held her hand out for Yuju to grab.

"No I don't want you to take my pain. I don't even know how to do that." Yuju refused to hold her hand.

"You don't have to know. Give me your god damn hand Yuju! I'm not gonna ask again!" Umji was clearly frustrated. Her life was a mess right now.

"I'm sorry..." Yuju slowly grabbed Umji's hand.

"All it takes is focus." She closed her eyes, her veins turning black. Yuju sighed, she felt relieved nonetheless, but she still felt guilty. "You okay now?" Umji let go.

"Yes. Are you? You took a lot. I'm completely great. I feel like I could run a thirty mile marathon." Yuju jumped up. Her blood was pumping now.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Umji lied. She was in terrible pain, but she believed she deserves it.

"Alright lets move this body." Yuju grabbed one arm as Umji grabbed the other. "So we're just gonna dump her into the river?"

"No. It's not deep enough right here. We're gonna have to go out further."

"But we don't have a boat."

"And? We can swim her over there. Do you ever stop to think for a second?" Umji scoffed.

"Not everyone can be as smart as you, you know that right?"

"Shut up and keep going."

"No I'm talking to you." Yuju dropped the arm and stood there waiting for Umji to do the same.

"You're so annoying! All you ever do is talk and talk. Shut the fuck up for once!" Umji felt like she was losing her mind.

"I'm glad to finally know you feel that way." Yuju frowned and picked the arm back up and continued dragging the body.

"Yuju I didn't mean it like that" Umji immediately tried to apologize, even though she believed what she said.

"No it's fine." Yuju was trying to end all conversations immediately now. She didn't want to talk, especially not to Umji.

Umji looked up at her and frowned. She couldn't act like this. It wasn't fair to Yuju. She had done nothing wrong. She looked down at the body and helped carry it the rest of the way there.

"Do you believe that Cao Lu would really sleep with Linzy's boyfriend?" Eunbi was starting to doubt it now.

"Judging on how she treated your friends, yes I think she would." Jimin wasn't going to lie to her. It was a red flag that Eunbi needed to pay attention to. It was a warning that Cao Lu might not be the same around Eunbi.

"Great. Why isn't the boyfriend at fault too? Why are we only blaming Cao Lu?"

"We're not. We just don't know the boyfriend so we can't really say anything about him. It's his fault too, we know that."

"Do you think Yuju really broke her ankle?" Eunbi suddenly questioned. It all seemed suspicious to her.

"I'm not sure. It's their business anyways." Jimin shrugged.

"I don't know. Something is going on between Yuju and Umji."

"Maybe they're dating."

"No that's not it. Yuju still isn't over Yerin and Umji still likes me. I don't know I just feel like they're hiding something."

"Well whatever it is they're hiding, I'm sure they have a good reason for hiding it. This is your neighborhood, right?" Jimin pointed to the left turn up ahead.

"Yeah just take that left and go straight towards the back. My house is at the end."

"Alright. Take care. Don't do anything stupid." Jimin waved goodbye.

The two stood there in the water as they watched the body float along. They couldn't go any further, the water was already reaching up to their necks. It was silent and tension between them made this moment very awkward. Neither of them wanted to speak, but they both wanted to ask when they should leave.

"Should we go?" The two asked in unison.

"I think so..." Umji couldn't keep her eyes off of the body that was starting to disappear into the distance.

"We didn't kill her, don't look so guilty about it." Yuju patted Umji on the back.

"What about her parents?"

"They'll figure it out one day. One day her body will show up and they'll know that she wasn't missing this whole time. They'll be sad their daughter died, but it isn't our fault." Yuju wrapped her arm around Umji and lead her back to the house.

"Thanks for helping me with the body."

"That's what friends are for." Yuju smiled at her.

"You're my best friend, my only friend."

"That makes two of us. I'm okay with only having one friend, as long as it's you."

"Ugh you're such a flirt." Umji punched her arm.

"Just trying to make you feel better."

"I've been really down lately, it's not a good look, is it?"

"Sad, happy, angry, I like any look on you. This generation has so many good looking people."

"Yet so many ugly people too." Umji frowned.

"Well thank god you're not one of the ugly people." Yuju nudged her arm.
