It had been weeks since the two talked to each other. At some point, Eunha gave up on trying to start conversations with her. They lived in the same house yet not a single word was spoken. They continued as if it were their normal everyday life. It was honestly sad.
There was a complete lack of emotional connection, but that did not interfere much with their physical connection. Sowon would stare up at the ceiling the entire time, becoming numb to the sensation of Eunha touching her everywhere. Once they were done, Sowon would go to bed and Eunha would return to the couch downstairs. It wasn't normal, but they acted like it was. Neither of them wanted to confront the issue anymore. They had strayed too far from that.
Sowon still cooked every meal for Eunha. They still ate together at the table, but not a single word would be spoken. When Eunha came home, Sowon would go upstairs for the rest of the night. They completely ignored each other's presence. It was like two complete strangers living together.
Eunha rolled over, her chest heaving up and down as she tried to catch her breath. She pulled the blanket over her naked body and stared up at the ceiling like Sowon. It was quiet for awhile.
"Are you ever going to talk to me or are we just gonna keep having sex and go back to acting like we don't know each other afterwards?"
Sowon stayed silent for a moment, deciding whether to respond or not. She didn't even know what to say. She wasn't ready to talk about it, but part of her wanted to. She decided to finally respond, "I'm not ready to talk yet." Even though it wasn't the response Eunha hoped for, a smile still appeared on her face from getting to finally hear her voice.
"That's fine. I guess I'll go back to the couch and go to bed." Eunha pulled the blanket off her and was about to get up.
"Wait, "Sowon grabbed her wrist, "I never said you were done." She looked sad as she stared at Eunha's eyes. At this point, she wasn't even doing it with Eunha for the enjoyment, it was just a distraction from her pain now.

"Are you ready for your first tournament back on this team?!" Yerin was so excited to watch Eunha play tonight.
"Super ready. Me and Linzy are gonna kill it tonight." Eunha smiled as she put her tennis shoes on.
"Will Sowon be here to watch you or are you guys still fighting?"
"I'm not sure. We're not really fighting anymore. She actually talked to me last night." Eunha looked at that as an accomplishment.
"Finally! That's good. That means she's starting to come around. She'll forgive you soon, don't worry about it." Yerin nudged her.
"Eunha, look who showed up." Eunbi appeared and pointed at Sowon who was walking towards the gym room.
"She actually came to watch you play." Yerin smiled, "What a supportive girlfriend."
"Yeah..." Eunha grabbed her tennis racket.
"Why is she walking a little bit weird?" Eunbi tilted her head when she noticed Sowon was walking a bit weirder than usual. She almost looked a bit uncomfortable.
"Oh, um..." Eunha's cheeks became red.
"What did you do?"
"Nothing, why?" Eunha glared at Eunbi.
"Because you're acting strange. What did you do to her?"
"I didn't do anything bad to her. We were just up late last night, that's all."
"Wait, so you guys are having sex? But I thought she was mad at you."
"Wait, she's walking like that because of last night? Jesus Christ, how many times did you do it?" Yerin could feel Sowon's pain just from hearing about it.
"Ten times, I think." Eunha answered. She was utterly embarrassed at this point.
"What?!" Eunbi was hit by a sudden wave of sickness.
"Eunha, you're sick!" Yerin slapped her arm.
"Don't be jealous because you're not getting laid." Eunha laughed at their reactions.
"Wow, rude." Yerin sarcastically glared at her.
"But doesn't it just get boring at one point?" Eunbi became serious.
"I don't think so, she's been boring in bed lately though. She just lays there and stares up at the ceiling. She doesn't move at all and she doesn't make a single noise, it's annoying. I need a reaction from her."
"She's just in pain, give it some time. Well, your game is about to start, you better go meet up with your team." Yerin sent Eunha on her way to the gym.
"Eunha!" Linzy gave her a hug the second she saw her. "Are you ready to win?"
"Of course I am."
"My boyfriend actually showed up for the game. He never comes anymore. I know you don't like him, but please don't be rude to him." Linzy said, watching Eunha glare at him.
"Why are you still dating him? You shouldn't stay in an abusive relationship."
"Uh, why didn't your mom show up?" She quickly tried to change the subject.
"She's mad at me."
"For moving in with Sowon, right?"
"Yeah."
"I thought she would've gotten over it by now, but at least Sowon is here to support you." Linzy pointed at Sowon who was sitting in the back, "Must mean you guys aren't fighting anymore."
"No. She's still mad at me too."
"Well, she'll get over it soon. Come on, the game is about to start." Linzy wrapped her arm around Eunha and lead her to her position.
