"It feels so weird not having Sowon and Eunha here with us. I can't believe we're going to be seniors in a few months." Eunbi kept daydreaming about what her graduation would be like.

"Isn't it a bit weird that seniors get out of school two weeks before everyone else?" Yuju asked.

"Not really. It's sort of like a graduation gift for them. We'll get the same privilege next year."

"I guess. I like that they do that."

"I have to go finish a small science project with Yerin in the library. I'll see you around." Eunbi waved to Yuju as she rushed to the library. She was a bit late, but Yerin wouldn't mind.

Eunbi arrived at the library, but Yerin wasn't in sight. Maybe she was late too. There were more people in here than usual, they must've all been finishing a project last minute. She headed towards the table and that's when she found Yerin upstairs grabbing a book.

"I thought you weren't gonna show up." Eunbi greeted her.

"Why would you think that? I'm your best friend, of course I'm going to be here to help you."

"What do you think about being my girlfriend." Eunbi nudged her along with a cute smile.

"Well, I'm waiting for you to ask me."

"Why don't you ask me?"

"I don't know. I've just always been waiting for the day that you ask me." Yerin spoke with a frown as she set the books down on the table.

"Maybe I will soon." The two sat down. They were about to continue until an unfamiliar person sat down in front of them.

"Do we know you?" Yerin asked.

"No, but I thought you might be able to help me. You look smart. I have a science project due but I'm clueless." He seemed in distress.

"I wish we could help you, I really do, but we have our own project to finish." Eunbi felt bad for him.

"It's okay. I do have one more question though."

"What is it?" Yerin raised an eyebrow.

"Do you think DNA can change? Do you think someone—or something, can have two different sets of DNA?"

"Um..." Yerin and Eunbi looked at each other with a weird expression. They both found him to be suspicious.

Eunbi had no idea what was about to happen. The student grabbed his pen off the table and stabbed Eunbi's hand with it, the pen completely piercing through her hand. Yerin and Eunbi both jumped up from their seats.

"Look!" He pointed at Eunbi's hand. All the students in the library gathered around, but Eunbi kept her hand covered.

"What are you doing?" Yerin tried to get him away from Eunbi, but he managed to pull her arm away to reveal that the wound on her hand was completely healed. Everyone gasped. They all knew about her secret, and soon the rest of the world would too.

Eunbi kept frantically knocking on Sowon's door, hoping she was home. Yerin stood behind her with a panicked expression. They hoped that Sowon would know what to do, but that was a stretch. Sowon wasn't capable of doing everything in the world, and Eunbi failed to realize that sometimes.

"What?" Sowon opened the door while rubbing her eyes, she obviously just woke up.

"It's urgent." Eunbi invited herself in, pushing Sowon out of the way.

"What's wrong? Why are you so stressed?"

"They know. Everyone knows." Eunbi spoke too fast that Sowon couldn't understand her.

"Calm down. Tell me what happened."

"She doesn't have to show you. Someone took a video of it." Yerin announced. She held her phone in her shaky hands as she stared down at the screen.

"Now the whole world is gonna know." Eunbi felt like she was going to throw up.

"Show me the video." Sowon held out her hand.

The two intensely watched Sowon's reaction, which wasn't a very good one. There were many emotions she felt. She was angry and sad, but mostly scared. This was the worst possible thing that could happen to them. It was the thing Sowon had always feared most.

"We have to find a way to take down the video." Yerin said as she took her phone back once the video was done playing.

"What if your parents see it?" Eunbi looked at Yerin with a concerned look in her eyes.

"I'll have to talk to them if they do. What are we supposed to do?" Yerin looked at Sowon for an answer.

"Maybe you should lay low for awhile?"

"Lay low? All the hunters are going to be coming after me now."

"I know, which is why you need to go into hiding for awhile. Umji and Yuju do too, they will come after everyone associated with you."

"Where will I go?"

"I'm not sure yet. I will figure something out."

"What about you and Eunha?"

"We will be fine. Don't worry about us."

"I have to keep going to school though. I have projects that are due."

"Eunbi, you cannot go to school. Everyone knows what you are, they know we exist now. Stay home."

"I will take her home. Come on." Yerin grabbed Eunbi by the hand.

"Do not leave your house for awhile." Sowon warned her.

"This is bad, isn't it?" Eunbi looked back at Sowon.

"This isn't even the worst part, the worst is yet to come."

"What do you mean?"

"This will generate fear, and fear leads to horrific acts. That's why you need to lay low for awhile."

"God, I can't even think right now." Eunbi massaged the temples of her head. This was all giving her a headache now.

"Come on." Yerin lead Eunbi to the door.

Sowon checked the surroundings outside while Yerin and Eunbi got in the car. She locked the door behind her and took a deep breath before going upstairs. She never thought this would actually happen. Sometimes she imagined that it would, but now that it actually was, she had no clue what to do.

"What's happening?" Eunha groaned. She awoke from Sowon crawling into bed next to her.

"It's nothing. It doesn't matter."

"Don't lie to me. If you want me to start trusting you again then you can't keep secrets from me."

"It's a bit complicated. Uh, everyone at school knows about Eunbi being a supernatural creature. A video of it has gone viral too, the whole world is going to know soon." Sowon's explanation seemed to wake Eunha up.

"What will we do if they find out about us?"

"We'll have to leave. Flee the country or something. We will have to stay hidden for the rest of our lives. No one will ever accept us for what we are, and the hunters are going to come for us all."

"Won't other wolf packs try to attack Eunbi because they will be mad that she exposed them all?"

"No. They won't come for a true alpha, but they might come for her pack."

"I'm scared." Eunha looked up at her with fearsome eyes.

"I don't want to sound pessimistic because I should be telling you that it's alright, but it's not. You should be scared, but just know, I'm here to protect you."

"But what if you get hurt? What if the others get hurt?"

"They most likely will. Many supernatural creatures are going to die because of this. The world is against us."

"It's us vs. the world." Eunha looked up at the ceiling and sighed.

"Yes, it is. And the world has many more humans than creatures." Sowon closed her eyes, thinking about how many people were going to die because of this. This wasn't just some secret that would blow over. This was an evolution that would start a world war.
