Cruel Plan

"I'm not gonna fucking bite my girlfriend's friend! Do you understand how crazy that is? Why would I intentionally turn a human into a wolf? Do you want to ruin lives?" Umji was bewildered by Sowon's plan. She had never heard something so cruel.

"Umji, please, I'm begging you" Sowon put her hands in a praying position over the counter.

"...does Eunha know about this?" Umji whispered. She couldn't believe she was actually about to agree to Sowon's plan.

"No..." and that answer caused Umji to change her decision.

"Fuck no then! I'm not having Eunha hate me for something you wanted me to do. You do it yourself, ok? I know you're good at hurting people, you'll do fine" Umji smiled at her and rolled her eyes. There was no way she was going to do such a thing knowing that Eunha would hate it and so would Eunbi.

"Fine then! I'll do it by myself. Y'all are a bunch of weakass hoes," Sowon scoffed.

"Sowon, look, you can't just go around doing these kinds of things and act like they're okay. What's the reason anyways? Why are you doing this?" Umji questioned,

"It doesn't matter" Sowon looked away. She couldn't lie while looking directly into Umji's eyes.

"Sowon." Umji moved over so she could see Sowon's eyes.

"I need another wolf...we're too weak. Just in case..." Sowon hung her head low. She hated having to admit that she felt weaker, that she actually was weaker.

"Sowon you're a fucking asshole!" Umji suddenly shouted. She had never been so disappointed in someone. "You're going to get an innocent girl killed! And you're gonna do it purposely to save your own ass! Do you understand how wrong that is? You're sacrificing someone else's life! Have you thought about how much pain her family will be in? How much pain she'll be in?" Umji asked a series of question to see if maybe they would make Sowon change her mind. It was unlikely to happen. Sowon had to do it. She didn't want to die. She wanted to feel safe. But even that was impossible, even in her own house.

"Umji I know, ok? I understand what I'm doing and how it will effect people. But I'm thinking about us. What about us? You want to live, don't you?" Sowon finally looked her in the eyes.

"We can do it without her. There is five of us against one alpha. You and Eunbi are both alphas, I'm sure you two could handle him on your own" Umji tried to reassure her. She had never seen Sowon so concerned about her wellbeing.

"Umji you don't realize how strong he is. Look at this" Sowon turned around and lifted up her shirt to reveal an ugly wound on her back.

"Shit. What happened? That's disgusting" Umji closed her eyes after seeing the wound dripping with black blood.

"It's getting worse. At first it was just a scratch" Sowon put her shirt back down.

"Holy...what the fuck are you gonna do? You realize what this means right?"

"Yeah. We're gonna die" Sowon looked at Umji like she's stupid. She wondered if Umji was listening to her this whole time because that's literally what she was talking about, them dying.

"No. This means only you and Eunbi can go. We can't risk it. If he hurts me, Eunha, or Yuju then we'll be done for. If you're an alpha and you're still not healing imagine what will happen to us" Umji facepalmed. This was a lot worse than she thought, and Sowon wasn't even giving her the full story.

"No. I can't" Sowon's eyes began to fill with tears. Nothing terrified her more.

"Sowon I'm sorry but you can't get us all killed. It's on you and Eunbi" Umji was right. She wished she could help Sowon but that was like a one way ticket to the morgue.

"Umji please you can't do this me. I'll die and so will Eunbi. Do you really want that to happen?"

"It's better than all of us dying. Listen if you want help then you're gonna have to tell Yerin all our secrets. She'll be the one that can help you, she has so many different weapons, poisonous ones too" Umji was smart for thinking about that. But it was also a bad idea. Yerin would have a very high chance of dying. And now wasn't the time to reveal their secrets. They couldn't fully trust Yerin anymore, at least not yet.

"That's a good idea. But Yerin is...she's not trustworthy anymore"

"No it's not a good idea now that I think about it. We can steal the weapons from Yerin so she doesn't have to go and then you can use them on the alpha" that sounded like a way better idea to the both of them. Umji was known for her ability to make good plans, but not all of them always went well. That's just how life is.

"Yeah but her family will know if they're missing something and I don't want them to blame Yerin and then have her accidentally get in trouble for something we did. Her family is full of skilled hunters, they use those weapons almost everyday, I'm sure they'll notice when something has gone missing. What can we do?" Sowon was even more stressed now. She felt like she was going to have a heart attack from all the pressure she's been put under lately.

"We can figure this out later. Let's talk tomorrow. Just me and you, well we should probably bring Eunbi too. Eunha doesn't need to know, ok?" Umji looked at Sowon and waited for her to nod her head in agreement.

"Ok but we can't tell Eunbi about what I'm going to do to her fiend, what I might do" Sowon looked Umji dead in the eyes.

"I can't believe I'm saying this but ok deal. I don't like her anyways. That bitch is annoying as hell" Umji didn't want to say it out loud but she knew Sowon agreed with her too.

"Ok I'll see you tomorrow then after school. Eunbi will be here anyways for training. I'll see you" Sowon waved. She had business to do after this.
