Thankfully it was too dark for Yerin to see their faces. Sowon shifted back into her wolf form and covered Eunha with her body. Umji shifted back into her human form with her back to Yerin. Umji slowly pulled the arrow out of SinB's body while Sowon licked the blood off Eunha's neck, but it kept coming out. SinB shifted back to her human form too and Umji helped her stand up.
Umji ran over to Sowon and ripped off her sleeve to stop the bleeding on Eunha's neck. As Eunha was struggling more and more to breathe, Yerin was getting closer. They were running out of time. SinB and Sowon helped Eunha to her feet while Umji put pressure on Eunha's wound with the sleeve to help reduce the bleeding. With them carrying Eunha they weren't able to run as fast.
"You're the alpha! Do something!" Sowon yelled as she saw Yerin getting closer.
"I'll carry her, you guys go!" SinB picked Eunha up in her arms and the others ran, Sowon of course took one last glance at Eunha before running off deeper into the woods. Even with Eunha's weight, SinB was able to run faster than both the omega and the beta, but of course SinB can't just leave her fellow pack mates behind. Instead, she stayed a couple feet behind. They hid behind the bushes when they thought they had gotten rid of Yerin.
Unexpectedly, Yerin appeared in the middle of the woods. She kept turning in circles to make sure no one was behind her. Then suddenly there was a rustle in the bushes, but none of them moved, so that meant only one thing; someone else is in the woods with them. Sowon covered Eunha's mouth just to make sure she wouldn't yelp from the pain in her neck.
"Someone else is here." SinB barely had to whisper for Sowon to hear her, being a wolf has its perks.
"No duh, Sherlock." She replied with a mean tone, only because she was panicking.
"Who's there? Show yourself!" Yerin spoke up. There it was again, another rustle. SinB could sense that Yerin was growing anxious with each second that passed by. "Hello?..." Yerin's voice sounded a little shakey.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you not to come to the woods late at night? Especially with deadly creatures?" An unfamiliar voice replied.
SinB was able to pick up on where the noise was coming from but if she shifted she would make too much noises. A minute of silence passed by and SinB had thought that the creature was gone. That was until she saw yellow eyes peek out of the bushes behind Yerin.
"Sowon, help her." SinB looked at Sowon with pleading eyes.
"Ok but Umji is helping me, get Eunha out of here."
"On it." SinB grabbed Eunha and ran. Yerin turned when she heard the bushes rustle from SinB's movements.
"Hey! Hey you!" Yerin called out. Suddenly the creature was in mid air about to pounce on Yerin. Fortunately, Sowon was quick and pounced on the creature from the side. She soon figured out the creature was another werewolf. Yerin tried to shoot but Umji pounced on Yerin, trying to cause the least amount of damage as she could. Umji's wolf form was much heavier so she laid on top of Yerin so that she could give time for Sowon to get rid of the other wolf without having to hurt Yerin or Yerin hurting one of them.
Yerin tried to reach for her bow which was laying on the floor but she was a couple inches off. Umji growled to intimidate the girl below her but Yerin wasn't afraid of no wolf, well an omega wolf after all. If it were a beta she might hesitate a little but an omega was nothing to her, she didn't train for years to be scared of some little wolf pup. An alpha though, that was a total different story. If she ever were to see an alpha she'd run for her life or she would call in about 20 men with military grade weapons to take down the alpha with her. In Yerin's opinion, alphas are one of the strongest things. Her dad use to tell her it would take an army to take down a true alpha.
Sowon tried scratching the other wolf's neck but failed when the wolf kicked her off. Sowon went right in for the neck but missed again, this is one strong omega. The omega slashed the side of Sowon's face which angered her, leading her to try harder. Sowon pounced on the wolf again and scratched and scratched until the wolf had blood coming out of its eyes. The omega winced in pain but Sowon showed no mercy. Every wolf knows not to come into another wolf's territory and that was one of the biggest rules, so Sowon had to punish the disobedient wolf.
Umji was struggling to keep Yerin on the floor since Yerin kept pushing and trying to roll over. The mysterious wolf pleaded for its life, pleaded for mercy, pleading for Sowon to let go. Sowon didn't care though, she didn't even care for tearing its eyes apart. With one last growl and one last warning, she bit the neck of the wolf. The wolf was dead immediately. Umji finally got off Yerin and the two made a run for it. Yerin was left with a dead wolf across from her. She picked up her bow and took one last look at the teared up wolf before leaving. When Yerin got home she told her dad about everything that just happened.
SinB, Sowon, and Umji were cleaning Eunha's wound and put a bandage over it. The wound will be gone by tomorrow so there really was no point in putting the bandage on.
"What just happened? What did we just see? What does all this mean?" Sowon asked.
"Well, I'd say its pretty obvious, Yerin is a hunter." SinB looked down at her feet, "The girl I love...is a hunter."
