"Can you believe we're already graduating this year?" Sowon couldn't get rid of the excited smile on her face.

"I know. It's crazy. It feels like just yesterday that I was going to my first day of school in kindergarten." Eunha felt like her years of school went by in a blur. She couldn't remember any of it, which actually saddened her a bit.

"It's crazy to think about it." Even Sowon seemed a bit sad, although she was never the biggest fan of school.

The two had their hands entwined as they headed into the school. They were nearing the doors when a man, who obviously didn't belong here, stood in front of them, basically blocking them from getting inside. There was no one around them, so he began to growl at the two as they backed away.

"You don't want to mess with me." Sowon displayed her blue eyes, warning him that she had killed before.

"You're not the alpha." A wave of shock hit him.

"No, but I know her." Sowon glared at him, not realizing what she had just done.

He then roared at her before attacking the two of them. The two were frightened when they saw that his nails were glowing a blue hue. Sowon had never seen anything like it before. He was a werewolf, but he didn't entirely look like one.

He managed to knock the two out with a swipe of his hand with the advantage of his claws. He was going to kill them, that was until a man, who was unfamiliar but looked to be around their age, arrived at the scene. He had yellow eyes, fangs, and claws just like them. He did not hesitate to tear out the man's throat in order to help the two girls on the floor. He looked back at them with such an innocent look. He wasn't going to hurt them, fortunately.

"Who are you?" Sowon questioned as she helped Eunha off the ground.

"My name is Kungseo." He had a welcoming smile.

"You're an omega?"

"That's correct. That's why I came here looking for a pack, the true alpha's pack. It's too dangerous for an omega to be on its own."

"Well lucky for you, the true alpha is my best friend." Sowon smiled at him.

"Eunbi, we've got a visitor for you." Sowon peeked her head into the room.

"Who is it?" Eunbi looked up from the board game, confused.

"He claims his name is Kungseo. He is an omega looking to join a pack, specifically your pack." Sowon informed her before inviting him into her house.

"Is this, like, your den?" He asked as he entered and saw a group of girls sitting around the table playing a game.

"Bitch, this is my house." Sowon coldly responded.

"Oh, sorry, my bad."

"You want to join the pack?" Eunbi looked a bit disgusted by him. She was just confused and didn't pay attention to controlling her facial expressions.

"You don't seem to have any males in the pack, so I'm assuming it's a no?" He sounded uncertain.

"No, no, I have no problem with males in the pack. I've just yet to meet a male wolf who wants to join. You're welcome to the pack, but first you have to go through the process of interrogation." Eunbi invited him to sit down across from her.

"Ask anything you'd like."

"What makes you want to be part of my pack?" It was an obvious question, but Eunbi wanted to hear the answer herself so she could listen to his heartbeat and check if he was lying or not.

"Well, rumor has it that you're the true alpha. I am only an omega, an alone omega, which I'm sure you know is dangerous. I decided your pack because I know how strong you are. You are a legend among the supernatural. You might not know it, but creatures around the world are talking about you. I feel safe with you." His heartbeat stayed at a normal pace. He was telling nothing but the truth.

"Who bit you?"

"No one, actually." He looked a bit nervous as he answered that question.

"What do you mean no one?" Sowon spoke before Eunbi could even open her mouth.

"I am a chimera, that's why."

"What the hell is a chimera?" Eunha had a distasteful expression.

"It is a human who has scientifically been given the powers of at least one supernatural species by the Dread Doctors." Sowon explained, with a hint of shock in her voice. She didn't actually believe they existed until now.

"What the hell is a dread doctor?" Yuju asked.

"The Dread Doctors is a trio of scientist. One of them is a surgeon, another is a pathologist, and a geneticist. They are enamored with the supernatural. They enhanced themselves into esoteric super humans using electromagnetism and pseudoscience." Sowon began to explain the trio.

"But why did they enhance themselves?" Asked Umji.

"The surgeon is a man named Marcel who lived in Gévaudan, France in the 18th century. He was devoted to and loved Sebastien Valet, the Beast of Gévaudan. After Sebastien died, Marcel became a surgeon and created his comrades, creating the Dread Doctors work to find a way to bring Sebastien back to life. Their goal is to resurrect Sebastien. They abduct young people with genetic chimerism for their experiment. They then perform paranormal human experimentation on the young people converting them into chimeras. The Dread Doctors kill off the chimeras once they are declared failures until they find a genetic success." Sowon further clarified.

"So it's all basically because they worship the supernatural and one of the guys wants to get back someone he once loved dearly?"

"Correct. They are basically obsessed with the supernatural. It's quite weird."

"You may not be an actual werewolf, but you are welcome to join us anytime." Eunbi held out her hand towards Kungseo. He shook her hand with a smile.
