"What is that?..." SinB heard faint voices but she kept her eyes closed. She wondered if the the students here yet. Then she remembered, it's the weekend.
"Is that...is that SinB?!" She could hear footsteps coming her way. She didn't have to open her eyes to know who it was. She knew her scent so well.
"Sowon..." SinB mumbled. Sowon knelt down besides SinB and looked at her with a frightened expression.
"What happened?" She worriedly asked.
"I...it attacked me." Her voice was shaky.
"You're gonna be okay. Eunha and Umji are on their way." Was she imagining things again? It seems just like last time.
"I can't...I can't feel anything." SinB was glad she couldn't feel the pain anymore, but she was scared about the fact that she literally cannot feel anything.
"Hold on, okay? It'll all be over soon. Look, Umji and Eunha are here." SinB wondered how Sowon can be so calm in a situation like this.
"Help me pick her up." SinB opened her eyes and saw Eunha and Umji standing above her. They looked equally shocked. Soon SinB felt herself being lifted up by the 3 of them.
"Where are her clothes?" Umji asked. If only SinB had the strength to even talk. Her throat is so dry.
"I don't know but we need to cover her up."
"Here." Eunha put her big, black jacket on SinB. They continued carrying her to some random place. They didn't tell her where they were going.
"Do you smell that? Someone is coming." Umji sniffed the air. Then they hid SinB behind a couple of bushes. She almost blew their cover by coughing.
Once the people were gone SinB let out her cough, but all that came out was blood. The blood dripped down from her chin onto her chest.
"Just a litter longer, SinB...just a little longer." Sowon whispered and picked her back up.
"We need to get back to Sowon's house quickly." SinB's body shaked lightly because Sowon began to run.
SinB listened closely to anything she could hear. She heard birds, rustling, and the monster.
"It's here...the...the wolf is here." Her voice was filled with fear which was obvious to her packmates.
"Faster! We need to move faster!" Sowon picked up her speed. SinB hoped she wasn't too heavy. She closed her eyes and tried to focus on one thing, the wolf's movements. She could barely hear anything. That wolf is stealthy.
"We're here." Sowon set me down on a cold metal table.
"Take off her coat." Umji said while she went to go get something. SinB shivered when Eunha pulled the coat off her.
"Are you okay, SinB? Can you still not feel anything?" Sowon asked. All SinB managed to do was nod her head side to side in response.
"I don't understand why you're not healing yet." Sowon looked at her with a confused expression.
"Umji should know." Speak of the devil, Umji quickly came into the room.
"This wolf...isn't only a wolf. Seems to me that this creature is a mix of some sort. Part wolf and...part Kanima." They were confused as to how Umji knew this.
"Kanima? What is that?" Eunha asked.
"A Kanima is like a snake. That's why SinB isn't healing as fast, since it's a snake it has venom, and when the wolf bit SinB it injected her with its venom, slowing down the healing process."
"Damn you're smart! How do you know that?"
"Common sense, Eunha. I just had to get a swab from the bite mark on her neck." Umji shrugged as if what she did was nothing.
"So how do we take it down?" Sowon questioned.
"It's gonna take all of us. First we need to practice extra." Umji pulled out a piece of paper. It was a blueprint.
"What the? A blueprint? For what?" Sowon snatched the paper away from Umji.
"I already knew this would happen. I already have a plan to trap it. We need to figure out who hides under the white fur." Umji rubbed her chin with her finger in a thinking manner.
"Yeah," Was all SinB managed to mumble.
"So let's start planning." Umji laid the paper flat onto the table next to SinB.
"What about me?" SinB asked.
"Right...uh...can you stand?"
"Are you really asking me that question? No of course I can't stand."
"Right, that's stupid of me. Sowon and Eunha I need you to wash her with a wet clothe while I think of the strategy."
"Ok. Umji really is acting like a leader." Sowon proudly smiled and grabbed a clothe and ran water over it.
"Please watch out for my chest." SinB stopped Sowon before she could do anything.
"I will, don't worry. Eunha can you go get some clothes from my closet for her?" Sowon asked as she began washing the blood off SinB's teared up body.
"So what do you say we trap it inside the school's basement. It won't be able to get out because the door is made of steel. If we work together then we'll be able to take it down without a doubt." Umji put her thumbs up and smiled.
"But we can't until SinB heals. How do we get her to start healing?" Sowon threw the small clothe into a bin nearby.
"With this." Umji smiled as she held up a bag with something in it.
"What is that for?"
"It's anti-venom. Now step aside." Umji pushed Sowon out of her way and began doing what she knows best. They wondered where Umji even got the anti-venom or how she even knew to get it. She really must've been a step ahead of them all.
"I just have to inject this into her...and done! You should start healing soon." Umji walked away with a proud smile plastered on her face.
"What?! It was that easy?!" Sowon looked at Umji like she's crazy.
"Yup. SinB you should start healing in about an hour...until then we'll go over our strategy, and SinB, please go put some clothes on." Umji covered her eyes.
"Right." SinB lazily got up from the table and took the clothes Eunha gave her. She got dressed real quick and they all gathered around the table. They all stared down at the blueprint and the planning began.
