Eunbi grabbed Sowon's shoulder and turned her around to ask, "why were you talking to Kungseo?"

"I made a deal with him. It doesn't matter."

"Tell me what happened." Eunbi demanded.

"Yerin...she's the teenager trapped inside the beast. She doesn't even realize she's the one going around killing people."

"You really believe him?"

"I know he wasn't lying. There was something about his eyes, he was telling the truth. I hate to say it, but Yerin might not make it out of this."

"Don't say that. I will figure something out."

"You don't realize how impossible that is. Only his sister could kill him and now she's dead too. I'm sorry, but Yerin is already dead." Sowon hated to admit it, but there was nothing they could do.

"I will find a way to save her," Eunbi mumbled as she watched Sowon walk away.

Sowon was hurrying down the halls to get down to the gym room, but as she was nearing around the corner she could hear a girl and a boy arguing. She stood around the corner, listening to them arguing.

"You said you would actually go out tonight, or was that just another lie?"

"I have stuff to do."

"No you just want to go get drunk with your stupid friends! I'm not stupid! You never take me out anywhere." She slapped him across the face.

"You listen to me, bitch," he quietly said through gritted teeth.

Sowon knew she had to put an end to this. She turned around the corner, a bit surprised to see Linzy with the man's hands wrapped around her neck. Her face was already turning red as she tried to break free.

"Get your hands off her." Sowon grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him away.

"Who the fuck are you?"

"Kim fucking Sojung." She grabbed the back of his head and smashed his face into the lockers.

"Thanks." Linzy awkwardly stood there.

"You should leave him while you still can. You don't deserve to be treated like that."

"I know, but I'm too scared to leave."

"Well, if he ever does something to harm you again, you call me. I will deal with him." Sowon gave her a promising look.

"Thank you. I have to go." She ran off, leaving her knocked out boyfriend on the floor.

"Wow, Kim Sojung being a hero. How did that feel?" A familiar voice came from behind her.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, standing frozen stiff.

"Mother wants to speak to you. She knows about what you did. The whole pack is mad at you. What you did is outrageous."

"You don't know what you're talking about."

"You know, your girlfriend won't last long once they find out her name." He traced his fingers around Sowon's shoulders and back.

"How did they find out?"

"Don't worry, your sister didn't rat you out for being with a girl. The pack has been watching you. Father is upset with you too."

"Mother and father don't know shit about me, so you can tell them to fuck off."

"That's because you ran away to be with some stupid girl! You left us!"

"I left the pack because you guys are a bunch of psychopaths. I don't want to live my life like that."

"That's not how they will see it. They will be back to kill you both once they find out the name of your girlfriend. I'd be worried if I were you. You know how the pack likes to torture their dinner before eating it."

"If you come back here again I will not hesitate to kill you. You can tell mother and father to rot in hell, they are the ones that left me."

"Ah, Kim Sojung, always blaming other people for her own problems. Are you gonna blame the pack for the situation you're in now too?"

"If you're gonna kill me then do it."

"I would never hurt a fellow pack mate, but your girlfriend, oh, I will gladly tear her to shreds. This is your last warning that mother is going to give you. Fix this situation while you still can." He laughed as he walked away, leaving Sowon paralyzed in fear.

Eunha came around the other end of the hall and began asking, "hey, Sowon, why did—" she stopped when she noticed a man leaving.

He turned back around when he heard her voice and focused on Sowon's heart that was beating rapidly now. Her heartbeat gave it all away. Now he knew who to target. He left with a smirk on his lips.

"Who was that?" Eunha pointed in the direction that the man went.

"Um, I don't know. Just another student." She shrugged.

"What happened to him?" Eunha then pointed to Linzy's boyfriend who was still on the floor.

"It's a long story. Let's go home, I have stuff I need to deal with." Sowon turned around and walked away, trying to hide the fear in her eyes.
