It was only a few days until the eclipse. Sowon was stressed as hell but she was also happy that she had won the track championship on Monday. Eunha wasn't there, no one was there to support her. She didn't mind though. She knew she upset everybody and she felt bad for it.
"So here's what we're gonna do" Sowon said as she sat down in front of Eunbi. They were going over the plan.
"I'll go in first. I don't want you to get hurt too much so I'll try to take the most hits as possible so you can have the opportunity to out strengthen him. Sound good?" Sowon raised her eyebrows. Eunbi nodded at her before asking a question.
"What will we do when the eclipse starts?" That was a very good question and an important part of the plan.
"He won't have much power either and since there are two of us against one of him I'm hoping that we'll be able to defeat him, but that's hoping for a lot, maybe even hoping for too much" Sowon sighed. She had no idea what she was doing but acted as if she did so no one else would be stressed out. She took on a lot more then they could see.
"He was a pretty muscular man" Eunbi vividly remembers his body figure. He was pretty buff.
Sowon was about to continue until she heard a knock at the door. She gave Eunbi a weird look before getting up from the couch. She smelt someone familiar. Sowon wondered what she was doing here, especially after what happened a few days ago.
"Eunha...come in" Sowon opened the door and let her inside.
"I came to talk to you about what happened a couple days ago and the situation we're in" Eunha explained why she was here while she walked to the living room to sit down. She didn't even look surprised to see Eunbi. She totally ignored her.
"Well what is it? Is there something I need to know? Did you find something or someone?" Sowon questioned.
"If we're gonna do this then we're gonna do it together" Eunha looked both Sowon and Eunbi dead in the eyes. They were shocked and a bit more hopeful now.
"So you're in?" Sowon was worried about Eunha getting involved because she didn't want her to get hurt, especially in front of her eyes. But she knew she would protect her, only if Eunbi was doing okay though.
"I'm in all the way. It'll just be us three I'm assuming. That's good though. We don't need an omega, they're too weak. I know I'm only a beta and you guys are alphas so I'm not as strong but I'm the only beta on your pack, you need a beta more than you need an omega, beta's are stronger" Eunha did have a very good point. Umji wasn't weak but it was just a fact that Beta's were stronger, a lot stronger.
"Umji won't be able to survive, it's best we leave her out of it" Eunbi of course didn't want Umji to have to fight either.
"So just us then, we can all agree on that?" Sowon needed to make sure they weren't going to opt out at the end or ditch her.
"I'm not going to let you do this alone, Sowon, and neither will SinB" Eunha nodded.
"If only Jae were here. He was a beta too" Sowon sat back and deeply sighed again. She was clearly sad about his death still. It was still a fresh wound.
"He was strong from what I saw. He would've been great to have as a pack mate. He would've been the only male" Eunbi weakly smiled. They needed someone like Jae, determined and strong. Someone who will protect their loved ones no matter what happens to themselves.
"He was the strongest male I knew. He would've been very valuable to this team" Sowon looked up at the ceiling.
"Do you think he is listening to us? Or watching us?" Eunha asked as she too looked up at the ceiling.
"You mean like watching over us? Making sure we're gonna be okay?"
"Yeah kind of like that. Like a guardian angel?"
"I like the thought of that" Sowon smiled, a single tear rolling down her left cheek. None of them noticed, thankfully.
"I think he is protecting us from up there" Eunbi smiled at the ceiling just like Sowon did. She didn't know him, but he died for her and the others. She felt for both him and Sowon. He died for a good cause. He was a hero to Sowon and Eunbi, and probably the others.
"If only he could come back and protect us now" Sowon scoffed as if she were mad at him, but she wasn't. She loved him dearly.
"Well now that Eunha wants to embark on this plan then don't you think we should go over it with her?" Eunbi finally averted her eyes back to Sowon.
"That's right. He will be here on the night of the eclipse when we're all powerless including him. He is still capable of beating all three of us" Sowon sighed. She even felt like she was underestimating the situation.
"I think we've got this. Sowon, us three together are more powerful then you think. You don't need to worry about it. We're gonna win this once and for all. He won't be coming back this time. We will finally kill him for good" Eunha nodded with determination. She had a hopeful look in her eyes.
"It's better to encourage ourselves then to convince ourselves or tell ourselves that we won't beat him. We have to stay positive" Eunbi put her fist up with a smile.
"I'm just stressed. I don't mean to make you guys feel like I think you're weak. We can do this" Sowon agreed.
"Me and Eunbi will go get rest now. It's going to be a long day of practicing for the next few days" Eunha stood up and Eunbi followed her movements after that.
"Get home safe" Sowon opened the door for them.
"I'm sorry for being upset with you yesterday" Eunha said once Eunbi was a bit further ahead of her.
"It's fine, I understand. You had every right"
"Don't stress too much, ok?" Eunha kissed her cheek and hurried over to Eunbi. They were scared, all of them.
