Eunha watched as Sowon painfully limped to the bench. Neither of them knew why it wasn't healing. She wanted to go down there to see if Sowon was okay but she saw the coach running towards her while he shouted.

"Sowon how could you?! I thought you were better" he couldn't believe it. "If two of their players don't lose then we won't win! If they tie we still won't win! You let me down, Sowon" he looked her in the eyes with such disappointment.

"She fucking stabbed me with her nails!" Sowon stood up and yelled as she pointed to the girl that she raced. She immediately realized that cursing and yelling at her coach was going to have horrible consequences.

Everybody was looking at Sowon now with shock and disbelief. How could she talk to an adult like that? It was disrespectful to do such a thing. Sowon covered her mouth, her eyes twice the size now when she saw the look on her coach's face.

"You're sitting out for next weeks game" he threatened.

"Good! I don't want to run anyways" Sowon sat back down. Oh how she just wanted to punch the coach and whoever that damn girl was.

"Fine then. You get an extra three laps on Monday when we practice" he pointed his finger at her before going back to the rest of the group.

"Is she usually like that?" Eunha's father suddenly asked.

"No...not usually" Eunha lied. She had to or he would've never let his daughter be with such an angry and short-tempered woman.

"Good. That was a bit much" he looked at Sowon with a weird expression.

"I'll be right back" Eunha quickly got up from her seat and ran to the bench where Sowon was sitting.

"Hey what happened out there? Are you okay?" Eunha asked once she sat down.

"Yeah. That fucking bitch cheated" Sowon aggressively sighed. Eunha could see an evil look in her eyes, like she was going to do something to the other girl, something bad and dangerous.

"Let me see your leg" Eunha tried to grab her ankle but Sowon pushed her.

"Don't touch it! It stings like a bitch"

"Let me see it so I can make sure you're okay" Eunha gave Sowon an angry expression. They would've kept arguing if they hadn't realized that Eunha's father was watching them.

"Fine but be careful please" Sowon sounded like a baby.

"I'm always careful with you" Eunha glared at her as she grabbed her leg.

"Not in bed" Sowon laughed but Eunha slapped her arm.

"Don't say that in public" Eunha looked around to make sure no one heard her.

"Fine just make it stop hurting" Sowon whined.

"Why isn't it healing?" Eunha looked carefully at the nail marks that had dry blood around it.

"I don't know. She's either an alpha or something other than a wolf" Sowon looked at the girl suspiciously.

"Here hold my hand so I can take some of the pain away" Eunha held out her hand for Sowon to grab.

"No I'll be fine. It's just a little mark and only stings a little" Sowon shrugged.

"Then why were you complaining about it so much?" Eunha questioned.

"Because I didn't think you were gonna try to take my pain. It's fine I can deal with it"

"Ok I'm going back to my seat then"

"You're really gonna leave me? All alone?" Sowon gave her puppy dog eyes.

"I'll see you tonight" Eunha glanced back at her and went back towards her seat but was stopped by Linzy.

"Hey" Linzy smiled and waved.

"Oh hey. I was hoping to see you again" Eunha returned the nice gestures.

"Me too. Do you have any plans afterwards? Me and my friends were gonna go hang out after and they wanted me to invite you so here I am" she awkwardly chuckled. Her body language made her noticeably nervous.

"No I'm free after this. Where were you guys planning to go?"

"Well we found this new French restaurant that just opened up last week so we thought it'd be cool to check it out"

"That's interesting. I don't think I've ever tried French food, it sounds good though. But I don't really know the track team so..." Eunha looked at the team of girls and she didn't know any of them except for Linzy and Sowon.

"Oh the tennis team will be there too. Some girls from both sports can't make it tonight so there will only be about fifteen of us, I know it's a lot"

"Well in that case I'll definitely be there. Would it be possible for you to pick me up and drop me off?" Eunha asked. She was excited to hang out with her old friends again.

"Of course. We're going right after this is over so be ready" she messed with Eunha's hair and ran off in a hurry.

"Who was that girl?" Mr. Jung asked once Eunha sat back down next to him.

"Just an old friend. You don't remember her? It's Linzy from my old tennis team"

"Oh Linzy. I haven't seen her in a long time. She is such a nice girl. Is she still dating that asshole boyfriend?" He asked. He didn't care about cursing in front of his daughter, she was old enough now.

"No they broke up at the end of last year. I'm glad because he was really starting to get rude to her. Such a nice girl like that deserves better" Eunha sighed as she watched Linzy laugh with her team. She missed her, she missed all of them, she missed this school.

"I wish your mother didn't make you have to transfer. You had so many friends here" he sighed. He never understood his wife's way of parenting. It wasn't going to make Eunha like her anymore than she already does, she was already beginning to separate from her mother and that would happen more and more and get worse as Eunha got older. She didn't realize what she was doing to her and Eunha's relationship.
