↭MITCHIE's POV↭

I am happy is an understatement. I'm beyond that one. Yes, I felt sad after my mom told me about the 'engagement thingy' but something came up to save me from hellish Christmas. I thought I'll celebrate alone. I thought I'll spend my Christmas on that park. I thought no one cares for me. I thought I am just a nobody.

But I was wrong. He came and save me. He came and brought me to a place where the people there are happy to see me. It made me feel overwhelmed. I'm so grateful. They made me feel love. They accept me wholeheartedly. And they protect me from my mom.

Yes they didn't know why I don't wanna go with them but still, they help me and let me stay. It's a pure bliss! This Christmas is the best Christmas I've ever experience. The feeling that you belong to them. The feeling that you have a family. The feeling of having someone who cares for you. I want it to last.

"Yohooo~ Rise and shine, Mitchie~" Mei's sing song voice from the corridor made me smile as I sit on the bed.

Kanina pa ako gising pero hindi pa ako bumabangon. Naisip ko kasi yung mga nangyari kagabi --- I mean kaninang madaling araw pala. On the Christmas eve precisely. Natutuwa kasi ako. And it made me sleep so well.

Tumayo na ako at agad na may kinuha sa loob ng drawer ng side table at dali-daling pumasok sa banyo. Hindi muna ako naligo kasi wala pa naman akong pampalit pero ginawa ko na ang dapat kong gawin bago pa may makakita sa akin.

Naghilamos ako pagkatapos at nagtoothbrush bago lumabas. Naabutan ko si Mei na nakadapa sa kama at nakangiting tumingin sa akin. I smile back and sit beside her. Bumangon naman siya.

"Bagay sayo ang suot mo! Hindi ko din aakalain kakasya sayo." nakangiting sabi niya matapos pasadahan ng tingin ang pantulog na suot ko.

She's also wearing the same as mine, pero iba lang ang design. It has a short-sleeve silk blue top and blue pajama, while mine is a cotton short-sleeve floral top with lace pair with it's pajama.

I smile. "Oo kasya siya. Salamat nga pala dito."

She laugh. "Hindi naman akin yan! Kay Alvin-baby yan. Ang alam ko binili niya yan last year no'ng birthday niya pero hindi ginamit." sabi niya at biglang nanigas na parang may naisip na kung ano. "He allowed you to wear that?! Oh f! I should ask him!"

Naguluhan naman ako bigla sa kanya. Anong meron? May nagmamay-ari ba nito? Dapat ba hindi ko ito ginamit?

Magtatanong na sana ako nang bigla siyang ngumiti at tumayo sa harap ko na parang hindi siya kumilos na parang weirdo kanina.

"Tara breakfast na raw tayo. Hihihi." aya niya at hinawakan ako sa kamay sabay hila kaya sumama nalang din ako.
