No one had ever seen Councilman Marcus Kane cry, but he couldn't stop a tear from escaping his eye when he saw his daughter's wristband vitals stop. At first, he thought she took off her wristband, but she would never do something that stupid.

"Jackson, give me Aella's vitals since the first day," he commanded Abby's apprentice.

Jackson was worried about Kane's mental state; he had spent most of his days in and out of that room, seeing if any of his daughter's vitals changed. When something spiked or dropped, he would ask what was wrong.

"Jackson, do it!" Kane commanded, snapping the apprentice out of his thoughts.

"Right on it, sir," Jackson said, pulling up Aella's vitals since the wristband was placed. There was an overview of Aella's heart rate/pulse since she landed on the ground.

"What does this all mean, Jackson?" he asked. "Why does it occasionally dramatically spike up and down? I don't think that's normal."

"Well, my best assumption is that a lot has happened on the ground. I can only assume she's been excited, scared, maybe got a little injury...but that's all I can guess. I'm sorry, sir."

"Well, do her vitals give us any clue why her wristband stopped working? Surely she isn't dead; my daughter is too stubborn to die."

"Everyone's wristbands went out at the same time, sir. It doesn't make a lick of sense."

"Well, when you come to a conclusion, find me. I will be the first to know, understand, Jackson?"

"Yes, sir."

Kane ran out of the room and went to see his mother, Vera Kane.

His mother hadn't seen the man cry in ages, but knew it had to do with her granddaughter.

Reading his mother's mind, Kane answered, "Her wristband stopped working."

"Marcus, that doesn't mean-"

"I know, mother. I know. I just need to see her again. She's my daughter and...and..."

Vera sighed and allowed her son to cry. She wouldn't tell a soul about her son's pain of the possible loss of his daughter. She couldn't imagine how terrible he was feeling.

He realized just then why Abby sent Raven to Earth and felt a tinge of guilt for being such a nuisance to her.

Aella was woken up by the sound of delinquents shouting about some shooting star in the sky.

"Check it out!" she heard someone shout.

"Bellamy, come out here!" someone else shouted.

Aella blindly crawled out of her tent and looked up, but the "shooting star" looked more like a pod. She spent enough time reading and with mechanics to understand what the difference was.

"They're coming to help us!" Jones shouted.

"Now we can kick some grounder ass!"

Bellamy came out of his tent with a girl Aella recognized as Roma.

"Please tell me they brought down some shampoo," Roma mumbled.

Aella bit back a sarcastic retort; if the Grounders weren't giving them trouble, then she'd probably worry about the same thing.

"It looks like it landed around the lake," Aella spoke aloud. "We should go and get it before anyone else does."

"Everyone should get moving," Octavia ordered. "Everyone's ready."
