Sorry this is just another bonus chapter, but I'm trying to line my story up with the actual show storyline because I'm nitpicky and very detail oriented. That's my way of saying if it steers off the show by time or whatever, I'll be haunted by it forever. Plus I'm having trouble remembering what happened in detail in the show.

I thought I spent too long without an upload, so here's an interesting bonus because DRAMA.

Aella was entirely drained emotionally after the trip to the lake with Bellamy. It was serene and wonderful, but she didn't catch a break after that moment from anyone.

Day after day, she had to lead her people since her father wanted her to take his place if something happened to him and she wished he would push her to work harder, but he didn't. He knew she was damaged since Mount Weather and treated her like she was the most delicate thing on the planet.

Then Jasper being drunk every day wasn't exactly a spirit lifter for her since she had assigned herself the task to sober him up for guard duty every day. Maya's death hit him harder than it hit her since he was so close to saving her.

The one thing that almost sent her running before she actually did leave Arkadia was a conversation she had with him when he was drunk. He sat at the bar drowning his sorrows in yet another cup of alcohol when she approached him.

"Jasper, this is not okay," she told him, sitting next to him at the bar.

"What's not?" he asked, slightly slurring. "Me?"

"You're morning drinking," she informed him. "You're drunk and it's not even noon. You're gonna get yourself killed if you keep drinking like this."

"Maybe that's a good thing."

"Don't say shit like that."

"Come on, have a drink. We all know you need one just as much as I do. I'm surprised you're all high and mighty instead of drinking with me."

"My world didn't stop spinning because of this. Neither did yours, so get off your ass so I can dunk your head in cold water and get you off to guard duty."

"Come on, A! One more drink. Drink with me!"

"No! Now, get up."

"Come on! We could be drinking buddies. Iconic duo of drunks...that sounds fun."

"You and Monty are the iconic duo and you've been neglecting him. Now, get off your ass and get your life together."

"You're one to talk."

"How so?"

He smiled deviously before telling her, "You might want a drink."

She turned to the pretend bartender and whispered in his ear, "Give me the weak stuff. I can't get buzzed."

"Gotcha," he said, grabbing some moonshine that looked watered-down and handing her a cup.

"Thanks." She took a sip, almost cringing at the taste. It was too watered down and she hadn't tasted alcohol in a long time, trying to abstain since she saw how it took its toll on Jasper, so the taste was a lot. "What do you have to tell me?"

"I was just thinking," he slurred. "I was totally thinking about how you try to sound better than me and I ain't falling for it."

"I'm not trying to sound better than you."

"Oh, really?"

"Yes, really."

"You're overworking yourself. You're fixing cars, leading us all, trying to maintain your relationships, and you're lying to yourself if you think you can distract yourself forever. Nothing last forever." He looked at his cup before murmuring, "Yeah. Nothing."
