Roan had to knock Clarke out almost the second he captured her since she wasn't as willing to cooperate as Aella, but to be fair, he kinda saved her life so she didn't hate him as much. It was a shock to Clarke when she woke up and found Aella tied up beside her with hatred evident in her stare at Roan.

"What are you doing here?" Clarke asked, her voice muffled by the gag.

"He's taking us to the one person I despise more than anyone at the moment," Aella answered, noticing Clarke's red hair was washed away. That must have happened when Roan knocked her out, a habit she figured he wouldn't quit. She had figured out how to move around the gag enough to speak coherently, but it was still muffled.

"Who would that be? You hate everyone."

"He is taking us-"

"Shut up," Roan commanded.

"You don't have to listen in, asshole," Aella shot back.

Roan just rolled his eyes and threatened, "I will knock you out if you don't shut up."

"Go ahead."

She wanted to call out his bluff, but when he actually knocked her in the head with the handle of his sword and rendered her unconscious, she had to make a mental note not to test people like that when she woke up.

Clarke was a little intimidated and tried screaming as loud as she could through her gag in order to get the attention of her people. They could be around since they had been searching for the two girls for months, but they weren't there at the moment.

Unfortunately, there happened to be a few Ice Nation guards in the area and heard the muffled screams.

"Do you have a death wish?" Roan murmured as he readied his sword. When he recognized that the guards were his, he grabbed both the girls and dragged them to said guards.

"What are you doing?" Clarke panicked.

"Right now, keeping you alive. Shut up."

The guards and Roan conversed with each other in their Ice Nation tongue that differed from the Trigedasleng Clarke had picked up on and then watched in surprise as Roan unsheathed his sword and killed the guards that had blocked their path.

When the blonde saw that Roan had a dagger that he left unprotected while slaughtering his own people, she sneakily grabbed it to the best of her ability and stabbed her captor in the gut.

He kept from cursing as he felt the blood in his body begin to escape through the wound with not much hope of being contained.

Clarke was trying to cut off her bounds, but Roan was not the type to let a stab wound slow him down much and leave him vulnerable so he quickly knocked her out too.

He looked around the field, making sure no one would follow them, as he hauled both of the girls over his shoulders, one in each arm.

"She will not be pleased that you two decided to be very unreasonable," he mumbled to himself as he took the two to what looked like an old metro station, but resembled a cave more than anything it seemed.

Until the two girls woke up, Roan would tough it out. Carrying dead weight in his condition was impossible as time ticked on since the blood never ceased to flow from his wound.

Aella was the first of the two hostages to wake up from being hit on the head, reaching to rub the bump that emerged from her forehead, but she was still tied up. When she found Roan in the corner, she glared at him.
