I apologize for taking three thousand years to upload, but I've been sick physically and mentally. I'm okay now...on heavy meds and bedrest. The meds suck since they're why I got sick, but I'm back and still have all my hair (I didn't shave it all off lol). I'm trying, my dudes. Plus, I got a cat and he's Satan, but he's currently sleeping on my lap so I remember why I got him in the first place.

Also, if that reunion a couple of chapters ago seemed weird, Archer is important for the story.

Aella watched as her hands went from their usual pale color to a grayish color. She had sat in silence, unable to move, and was only watching the blood flow from her hands slow down, leaving them as ice cold as she felt.

It had been too long and she didn't know where Archer was. They have separated once again and she feared for his life yet again.

Everyone in the cell with her was practically screaming at each other in worry and argument as they bickered back and forth about an escape plan, but Aella couldn't hear any of it. Everything went silent for her as she worried more and more with each passing second.

Then the cell was quiet as Lincoln checked up on his friends and Marcus conversed with him.

"Don't give up either, Aella," said Lincoln, kneeling down to meet her height. "Stay strong."

"I need my boy," she said. "My Archer."

"We'll get him," said Kane, helping his daughter stand up.

"Chancellor on deck!" a man shouted, causing the group to snap their heads in that direction.

"I thought I had more time," said Kane when he saw the group. "I'll go willingly if my daughter is ensured safety."

"I'm not here for you," said Pike. "Each of you is guilty as the same crimes as Kane, and as such, will share the same fate: death."

"What is he saying?" a woman asked.

"Don't worry," Lincoln assured. "My people are innocent. They know nothing. Don't let them suffer for my crimes. Please, sir."

"Lincoln's right," said Bellamy, speaking up for the first time in a while. Aella's head snapped towards him and hoped with every ounce of sheer will in her body that he was seeing the right side. "All the others did was run through an open door, same thing we would do if we were in there."

"I believe that's true," said Pike. "Lincoln, Sinclair, Kane, Aella, as the leaders of this group, you will pay for your crimes with your lives. Execution is set for dawn."

"Wait!" Aella shouted. "Where is he?"

"Excuse me?"

"Where is he? The boy I came in here with? Please, he's only eight and he's confused and innocent. Where is he?"

Then Pike left the room with his guards, causing Aella to fall back into the place she was sitting, her hands shaking as her entire body filled with an insatiable rage. Bellamy was the last one to leave and wished he didn't have to, but to save them...to save her, he would do it.

He and Monty immediately filed into the room Harper and Miller were staying in, causing the duo to almost freak out.

"What do you want?" Miller asked. "What do-"

Bellamy pulled out a knife and cut open a part of Miller's uniform despite his protests, pulling out a bug as Monty covered it with cloth who said, "The bag blocks the signal. Now we can talk."
