Nice.

Sorry.

Aella was growing wearier each day they marched. She could only handle so much at a time and they weren't going to be stopping much since they could not afford to lose any time. Her leg wasn't making the march any easier, either.

She had stuck by Bellamy's side, a million things running through her head each time she looked into his eyes. One of them being immense guilt. She was getting in the way of Bellamy and Echo and, for a minute before they were in fighting pit, she didn't care. What a horrible time to stir up drama.

They were marching to war with with a tired, hungry army. They would already be at a disadvantage even with the element of surprise.

"Are you okay?" Monty asked, noticing how badly Aella was starting to limp.

"Yeah, Monty," Aella replied. "Just tiring having to drag my leg around. When we see Raven again, I'll enlist her help in building a new brace. Thanks for asking."

Bellamy's radio began to crackle, so the group stopped and listened in.

"Bellamy, come in if you can hear me," Echo radioed in.

"Echo-" Bellamy began.

"Wait," Harper interrupted. "She's speaking Trig for a reason."

He began again. "Why are we speaking Trig? What's wrong?"

"They know you're coming," Echo informed. "You've lost the element of surprise."

"They know we're coming," Bellamy informed, a look of defeat crossing his face even though they had yet to lose the war.

"Clarke?" Monty asked.

"It had to be," Aella said sadly.

"Echo, listen to me," Bellamy said.

"Bellamy, if Clarke's on their side, she speaks Trig too," Harper pointed out.

After a moment, Echo radioed, "Bellamy, you have to go back. We have their pilot, so you're safe for now. But you can't come here."

"Not possible," Bellamy responded. "It's a long story, but we can't go back and we can't stop. We're five days out. You have that long to find us a safe way in. After that, we run out of rations."

"We're on it," she said. "Be safe. Over and out."

Bellamy sighed and turned to the group, saying, "We need to tell Octavia."

"You think she'll listen?" Aella asked. "Haven't we learned by now that she will not stop the march to war?"

"For the good of Wonkru she would," he responded.

"If everything she did was for the good of Wonkru, she would not have burned down the greenhouse and we'd still be in Polis," she pointed out.

"Then maybe she would to save her pride. Losing and dying would ruin it."

Bellamy told Indra about the information Echo radioed in and the three of them went to Miller about speaking to Octavia. After he disarmed him, he talked to Octavia who was marching ahead of everyone. Aella wondered if it was to put on the appearance that she was leading an army or if she wouldn't mind being the first one shot. Maybe it was both.

Octavia didn't move when Miller told her they wanted to talk to her, so he turned back and nodded as if to tell them to come closer. They did, though Aella lagged behind a little.
