"This is Raven Reyes calling Ark station. Come in, Ark station. This is Raven Reyes. Calling Ark station. Please come in. Please. Please! Can anyone hear me?"

Aella sighed at her friend that had spent way too much time trying to fix the radio. "Raven-"

"I'm gonna get a frequency, Ell. Okay?"

"Are you sure you have the right frequency?"

"Yes!" she shouted. "I'm sure!" Raven looked at her friend and carefully whispered, "Sorry."

"Raven, you can do this," Clarke convinced. "You can do this, okay?"

As Clarke tended to Finn's wound, Aella joined Raven and tried the radio.

"This is Aella Kane calling the Ark station from Earth. We are alive and one of us is hurt. Come in."

"It's not working."

"I see that, Raven. Try again. Adjust the frequency to maybe one-tenth of a turn on the right and see what happens."

She cleared her throat and tried once again. "Calling Ark station. Ark station, come in. Please come in. I'm on the ground with the hundred. We need you."

"Come on, Raven. One-tenth of a full turn to the right."

She did as she was instructed and turned the knob one-tenth of a full turn and once again spoke, "This is Raven Reyes. Calling Ark station. Could you please help? Ark station, please come in!"

"It must be the oncoming storm," Aella deduced. "It looks bad and sounds it too. The frequency is almost as perfect as it can be. Keep trying it and I can see how my communication panels are holding up."

"Ell, you worked so hard on the panels. I don't think the radio could've even had a chance of working without you. Now figure out the problem and I'll try again."

"Sounds good." She quickly ran outside and took a look at the panels. "There's nothing wrong with them!" she shouted. "They're perfect, Raven!"

She ran inside and saw Raven still huddled over the radio. "Please help. This is Raven Reyes. Calling Ark station. The 100 are alive!"

Aella almost gave up, but then an unrecognizable voice spoke from the other end of the radio, "This is a restricted station. Who is this? Please identify yourself."

"This is Raven Reyes. I-I'm from Mecha Station. I'm transmitting from the ground. The 100 are alive. Please, you need to get Doctor Abby Griffin. Doctor Abby Griffin. Now!"

"Hang on, Raven. We're trying to boost your signal."

"Ell, we did it!" Raven cheered before turning to Finn. "We're getting you help, Finn. Okay?"

"Raven, are you there?" someone asked on the radio. It could only be Abby.

Clarke took the radio and hesitantly whispered brokenly, "Mom? Mom, it's me."

Abby paused a moment and, both relieved and overjoyed, responded, "Clarke?"

Aella knew this would take forever, so she took the radio and said, "Hey, Abby. It's Aella. I know I'm intruding on this lovely moment, but one of our people was stabbed by a Grounder."

"Are you saying there are survivors on the ground?" Jaha asked through the radio.

"Yes, Chancellor. The Earth is survivable, but we're not alone."

"Aella?" Kane whispered. He thought she wouldn't hear him through the radio, but she did.

"Abby, Clarke needs your help. Nobody else has the knowledge to do this."
