Sorry, this took a freakin' eternity to publish. It's not even long. I wrote an entire filler chapter to satiate some of the avid readers, so it's been a while. I've started up school again and I'm already almost falling behind since I was forced to take AP and college classes and... Yeah.

Aella returned to Arkadia and approached her father in secrecy with a plan to save the Grounders that are in danger from Pike's rule. Pike's heathens were headed out to gather soil and water samples from a nearby area they planned to snag from the Grounders by killing them all.

Kane and his daughter sent Octavia out, knowing she'd be safe if Pike found her since Bellamy had his right ear. Bellamy may be off his rocker, but he'd die for his sister any day.

While Kane headed the mission with Octavia, Aella returned to the medical center to find Abby, Jackson, and Raven.

"Hey," she greeted the trio. "How is everything?"

"Well, I'm just checking up on Raven," Abby said. "She says her pain's all gone."

"It is, Abby," Raven said, her voice reminding Aella of an angel of sorts; it was light and airy but had something mechanical about it.

Abby pressed on Raven's leg and asked, "How about now? Anything?"

"Nope. All good. Pain's gone."

Abby stood up, still examining Raven's leg. "Hmm. Your leg is-"

"Still doesn't work. I know. I just don't hurt anymore." She moved to put on her brace when Aella stepped in the way and held her chin.

"Hold on there, Birdy," Aella said, shining a flashlight into her friend's eyes. "Pupils aren't dilated."

"Jaha gave me the key to the City of Light, not drugs."

"Let's just see what the blood tests say," Abby warned.

"I thought you'd be happy for me."

"We are, but it's just unusual for pain to subside this quickly."

"So am I all clear?"

"Apparently. Let Sinclair know that I said it was okay for you to go back to work, but you're benched again if I find anything abnormal in those tests."

"You won't. Thanks, Doc."

"Let me walk you out," Aella suggested. She had to go see what her father was up to after he managed to send Octavia outside the gates to save a child's life. At least Octavia could do that.

"Thank you, Aella," Raven responded as she linked her arm with her friend's as the two began to walk. The two walked in silence, one of them unaware of the woman in red.

"Raven, you need to convince her," said A.L.I.E. "We need her."

"Aella, how are you feeling?" Raven asked.

"Uh, I'm good," she responded. "I'd ask about you, but you seem to be in good shape. Congrats, Birdy."

"Thank you, but I asked you how you are feeling. Would you care to answer?"

"I feel like you're definitely not okay. Do I need to take you back?"

"No. No, don't be ridiculous. We just haven't talked in a while."

"You want the clean or messy truth?"

"Uh..."

"Both," A.L.I.E. responded. "She needs to tell you everything, okay Raven? She will confide in us."
