Hoo boy, we've gotten this far already...Although this story was first published so long ago, we're progressing and improving. I'm proud of this.

Aella's throat closed up when she, Bellamy, Archer, and Clarke left the sanctuary of the tower in Polis to see the destruction that A.L.I.E. rained down upon them. there was blood staining the streets and people crying over the bodies that spilled it.

"She'll be okay," Clarke told Bellamy, referring to his sister that had left the tower after killing Pike. "Octavia can take care of herself."

"That's not what I'm worried about," he responded.

"She won't be charged. Everyone will say Pike had it coming."

"Maybe we all do."

"We just killed A.L.I.E.," Aella murmured, grasping Archer's hand. "Maybe you can liven up a little, Bell."

"Not when we have the world ending."

"What?" Archer asked. "What are you talking about?"

"So nobody really knows," said Bellamy in realization.

"I had to tell him," Clarke responded after noticing Aella's concerned look. "We can't do this on our own. I'm sorry."

"You weren't going to tell me?" he asked her.

"I was going to after today," Aella responded. "I wanted to give everyone a day to be glad that we killed one evil before having to fight the next."

"Well, we don't even know if it's the truth."

"Yes, we do."

"Then we keep it quiet."

"That was my plan, but okay then." She sighed, grabbing his hand with her free one. "Are you worried about how they'll react?"

"Of course. We just gave them back their pain. Telling them they will all be dead in six months won't help."

"I know."

"Good."

"Once everyone's down, I guess we'll get to work and see what we have to deal with. Maybe Raven will help us with that."

"And get a definite answer. I sure hope it's not true. We didn't survive this long just to die of radiation."

A woman screamed and Clarke ran towards the sound, the two following her. The woman was clutching a man that was sitting like he was still in the City of Light when it dawned on them.

"He didn't fall," Bellamy realized.

"He chased me in the City of Light," Clarke responded. "Lexa killed him."

The woman stood up and shouted, "Wanheda, you did this!"

And despite helping save them from A.L.I.E., Clarke couldn't feel any more guilty.

"This isn't your fault," Aella murmured. "This wasn't you. If they want to blame anyone for bringing them back, they blame me. If they want someone to blame for getting them there in the first place, they blame A.L.I.E."

"A-"

"Let's go." She pulled Clarke away from the situation, catching sight of her father.

Abby and Kane joined the four and Clarke noticed. "Good, you're down," she said. "We have to go. The rover's in the north woods."

"What about the wounded?" Abby asked.

"The Grounders don't want our help," Bellamy informed. "Our people we'll treat at Arkadia."
