Chapter 37 - 7 Minutes Of Heaven

Jonah's POV
December 1, 2016•

"Attention passenger's we have now landed in Los,Angeles California" the announcer spoke over the intercom.

We are finally back in Los Angeles and I had never been more relieved to be somewhere. Zach and Charlotte were finally going to talk. I was glad because ever since that picture leaked, Charlotte and Zach haven't been themselves.

I had been keeping in touch with Zach and he would constantly ask me how Charlotte was. He was visibly tired and drained. She blocked him on everything including their phone numbers. He just gave up on trying to contact her because she just ignored his texts and calls.

Charlotte felt as if talking over the phone would be impersonal so she decided to wait until they got somewhere privately and discuss it in person.

She's been more quiet and reserved. At this point she doesn't know what to think. She doesn't like people assuming things about her but at the same time the picture shows Zach and Aria kissing. She doesn't know what to believe.

Now you're probably wondering "Jonah if you know what actually happened why don't you tell Charlotte?" .

Good question which also has a great answer.

First of all Zach told me that he wanted to tell Charlotte himself because he thought that if he didn't then it would be the cowards way out instead of facing Char. Second of all Charlotte told me not to tell her anything about Zach or anything the both of us re-guarding the situation. Third of all if neither of them told me to talk about it I still wouldn't because that's me interfering in their relationship and I believe they need to sort it out themselves.

I was involved because One ,Charlotte is my sister and Two ,Zach is my best friend.

I was checking up on both of them because I care about them.

Being pulled from my thoughts was a deep sigh. I turned my head and saw Charlotte gathering her things. I frowned at the sight.

I had been trying to get Charlotte to feel better because I knew Zach didn't cheat.

"You ready?" Charlotte asked me once again pulling me from my thoughts. "Yeah" I said rising from my seat and grabbing my bags.

Charlotte began walking and I followed closely behind her.

Here goes nothing.

"Hey Guys" The boys greeted us. Charlotte hugged the boys and I dapped them all up giving them a bro hug. Once we were done we all turned to see Zach and Charlotte standing next to each other. Zach looked so nervous while Charlotte gave him an intimidating look arms crossed over her chest and eyebrows raised.

Well this is awkward.

Zach cleared his throat gulping and eventually broke the silence between them. "Um..hey" Zach said shuffling his feet looking down. "Hello" Charlotte replied practically burning holes into his head with her eyes. "So er...Nice weather were having huh?" He spoke trying ever so desperately to break the awkward tension between them two. Her glared hardened on him and she opened her mouth to reply. Before she could say something she regretted I butted in.

"How about we head home?" I asked wrapping my arms around the both of their shoulders pulling them in. "Whatever" Charlotte grumbled and moved away from me grabbing her bags and walking outside.

Zach and I sighed in unison.

"She really thinks I cheated on her?" He asked a hint of sadness in his voice looking down.
