Not What They Seem

Ep 2

(PoV: Sonic)

  Everyone was in my living room today. I'm not to keen on being stuck inside but it's more fun being inside with them. I yawned, it was mid-afternoon and I usually napped around this time. I didn't mind missing it.

"Hey, Sonic you think Eggman will attack today?" Tails asked.

"Who knows, I kicked Eggbutt yesterday so he might not," I shrugged.

"Sonic we should go on a date then," just the thought of a date made me nervous, Amy was staring, waiting for an answer.

"No thanks," I sighed.

"Why not," her whining made me wanna cover my ears.

"Not feelin' it," I said, still laying back with my hands folded behind my head.

"You're no fun," She huffed, well she gave up for now.

"Amy you should just leave him alone," Rouge must have come in when Amy was whining in my ears, "Wait for him to ask you."

"If I wait for him to ask it'll never happen," She complained.

  You realize that and still pester me? You just admitted that I'm not interested, I felt annoyance hit me again and shook my head.

(PoV: 3rd person)

  The small chatter in Sonic's living room continued until nightfall. Simply walking nearby was Shadow, here to pick up Rouge for a mission. He heard the conversations inside the pale blue home. Annoyed he knocked on the door.

"Oh Shadow," Amy answered, "What are you doing here?"

"I came to pick up Rouge. We have a mission to complete," He said.

"She um... busy right now," Amy told him, "bathroom."

"Tell her I'm outside," Shadow turned and waited.

  Later the group went home and Rouge chatted with Amy outside, Shadow was still waiting, while laying in a tree. He noticed he could see into Sonic's bedroom window from there. Nothing seemed strange for his seen personality. A bed, photos of his friends, and a dresser? He figured it was just for design, or maybe his socks and gloves. He saw Sonic walk in and open a closet. He put on a loose sweater, but not for long.

"Bye Sonic~" Amy called saying the blue blur to remove the coat and say goodbye, "See you tomorrow."

"Hey Shadow let's go on that mission," Rouge showed up hanging upside down next to Shadow.

"Hmph," Shadow remained expressionless, "Go on your own."

"Aww did I make someone wait too long?" Rouge teased.

  She only received a small growl.

"Well alright~ come save me if I get into trouble k~" she winked and left, he's up to something, Rouge thought as she flew off, probably another battle with Sonic. Hope they don't kill each other.

  Shadow watched Sonic put the sweater back on and admire himself in the mirror, but his actions were strange. Sonic would tilt his hips every so often and seemed more... shy? Shadow hoped onto the balcony to get a better look. Sonic put on a brown headband and seemed to be considering it.

"What are you doing Faker?" Shadow said, scaring Sonic who the tripped and got tangled in his curtains.

"S-Shadow!" Was all Sonic could say at the moment.
